My whole family is tall and it's genetics, nothing to do about it. Especially w having MINOR anxiety, espicially in social places, being tall makes you stand out. It's like I walk into a crowd and almost everybody looks at me. It's weird bc I used to think they thought I was weird but now I'm thinking they're just thinking I'm really tall. Sometimes I feel girls feel intimidated espically when I approach them, but not always though. I also think tall people look somewhat awkward with the way they walk/stand around. I say this bc I'll be looking at 4 people standing in line and one of them looks significantly taller than the rest and they stand out. When I walk to the line, I'm taller than him. I'm like damn. Side note: how do you spell "espicially"? I spelled it a few different ways in this one post lol
I get a picture of clifford everytime i try to picture u bro hahahahahahaha. Being tall might have benefits too!! For one you got to go on all the rides and enter the biggie pool before other kids ur age! You can probably change lightbulbs without much of a boost. I know they sound generic but i'm 5'10" and i could use 2 inches about now XD "Especially" is the word you're looking 4 btw.
Oh and my thoughts on your concern, sorry. I think height doesn't matter, take for example Peter Dinklage and Tony Robbins. Complete opposite ends of the spectrum yet both equally confident and content in their own skin. And charismatic as hell.
Most men would kill to be tall as it’s a very attractive quality to the opposite sex, and commands respect from other men. I think it’s all in your head.
That's true and I don't understand why. There comes a point where perhaps you become to tall. I think it's in my head too, like 90% of my problems
I wish I was tall aha I am 5'7 while the rest of my friends are 6'0+ Really awkward at social events People thinking I'm their little sibling of some sort hahaha
Its like anything has its advantages and disadvantages honestly, I am a little bit envious because I play basketball and obviously height is a pretty big determinant and most of the people that I played around were a lot taller than me as I was 6 foot 1 and they were mostly about 6 foot 5 but, be proud of what you have buddy.
I'm 6'4 and I hate it sometimes. I've developed a slouch because I feel too tall when standing up straight.
Nah. You have it way better than shorter people. There are tons of women who really like tall guys. I dont know many women who like short guys. If yo get over the insecurity, you can use the fact that you stand out to your advantage. Im sure there are pros and cons to being tall but there are much more pros to being tall than there are to being short.
Idk why you say taller is better, it's a little unfair to shorter people. And I'm 6'7" , I started to lift a while back so now I'm not just a tall lump of bones. Figured get bigger since I'm already tall. This me, fuck it. What I mean is it's sometimes annoying. I get asked constantly every day of my life (that I go into public, no lie) if I play basketball. As for the ladies thing, that would make sense if somebody were tall like 6'3. When you're 6'7" there's certain girls I cannot date. Short girls are physically oUT of the question. They (girls in general) stare at me, but i never know if it's good or bad. Its most likely like "fuck, he's tall." Which is instinctual, not really good or bad. I'll be talking to a girl and notice the top of her head comes to about my torso sometimes, she'll be normal height. She's probably thinking that I'll be too tall to be in relations with. That's what I mean by there's a point of being to tall. I'll see photos of pro basketball players (my height) standing next to "normal" people and they look fucking abnormal lol. I understand what you mean though, I'm not to insecure about it. You know what I mean?
Also, when I was younger I wanted to be an astronaut. But NASA website regulations say I'm to tall. Fuck you NASA, killing my dreams.. Then I decided to be a spy, but everybody told me I can't hide that good and if I was following somebody in a crowd I would stand out obvious. If I broke a law people would be able to differentiate myself from others to the police fairly easily I'm 20 and have a part time delivery job. When the people open the door sometimes they seem a little shocked. Not scared mind you but kinda taken back. Like chill yall
Being tall is a good thing provided you know how to carry yourself well. I know a lot of tall people who have a weird walking style. If u have a good posture you have nothing to worry about
You def have a points in terms of being conspicious. Youre not pulling off any clandestine shit, lol. I guess if youre 6 7 most woman would be short as hell to you.
