Are you listening to any Christmas music yet? What's you favorite Christmas songs? I'm listening to Jewel's Joy: A Holiday Collection album at the moment. I'm liking her Xmas songs at the end of her beautiful Lullaby album. O Holy Night is one of my favorite songs (interesting fact the person who wrote it was actually an atheist). This is probably the best Xmas album I've heard: I also like Ingrid Michaelson Winter Song
I love real Christmas music so much. I can't stand the silly stuff about santa and rudolph. These guys do the best versions!
I stopped caring about Santa and elves when I was around 6 or 7. Whenever I play Christmas music I like the ones about Jesus.
I don't think it gets any better than Nat King Cole's The First Noel. Also, anything by Burl Ives is pure unadulterated 100% nostalgia-fueled goodness.
Boy, you weren't kidding! You're really in to her. Haha I like listening to classics, like Dean Martin. If you don't like Dean Martin, then you're probably a pagan! Oh the irony!
I'm not really a fan of Christmas music in general. But my favorite Christmas song is probably Carol of the Bells. I also used to really like Breath of Heaven, and I guess I still do, but I did a performance of that song once, so I had to rehearse it a billion times and it kind of killed my enjoyment of the song.
One of the best Christmas hymns in my opinion: 'O come Divine Messiah' or if you prefer the original song in French 'Venez divin Messie'
Being that this thread is devoted to Christmas music....if you don't like it, just stay off it. It doesn't add anything to simply come in and say how much you hate it.
