I have heard about your religion. I didn't know that polygamy was allowed in your religion for that reason.
Muslims are allowed to marry up to 4 wives at any one time. Only if the other wives are happy that is.
Also you cant sleep with them at the same time, you have to treat them equal. Also you can only do it if you can afford to.
The woman that would be happy about this, doesn't exist yet. I always thought that polygamy is allowed in your religion to solve the issues of the unequal distribution of men and women: there were relatively more men than women.
Hi your wrong about women not being happy as there are plenty that are but I guess they would only understand if they had more knowledge on the fact and were also into the religion. In regards to why it is allowed its nothing to do with unequal distribution. Like I mentioned its because men are week and to stop them from sleaping around it has been allowed.
What I meant is that there were more women than men. In order for those women to be married, a man was allowed to have multiple wives. Your explanation is a bit problematic. We have stated earlier that women have at least as much desire as men if not more, which would mean that they are dealing with similar difficulties. Maybe it's even harder for then to abstain, despite the fact that they have more "control". Why would God allow men to have more than one woman and would not allow a woman to have more than one man if that's the case. It must because of something else, assuming that t makes sense. This is also interesting, but a whole different subject. I leave it at this.
4 – There are some men who may have strong physical desires, for whom one wife is not enough. If the door is closed to such a man and he is told, you are not allowed more than one wife, this will cause great hardship to him, and his desire may find outlets in forbidden ways. In addition to that, a woman menstruates each month, and when she gives birth, she bleeds for forty days (this post-partum bleeding is called nifaas in Arabic), at which time a man cannot have intercourse with his wife, because intercourse at the time of menstruation or nifaas is forbidden, and the harm that it causes has been proven medically. So plural marriage is permitted when one is able to be fair and just.
This is more interesting than what you said earlier. It also makes more sense. There doesn't have to be one reason behind a specific rule in (any religion). Thank God that men don't menstruate.
Some "studies" state that women are more prone to some types of addiction, but it doesn't seem to apply to porn addiction. However, the number of women getting addicted to it is growing. The conclusion is that there is no conclusion: we don't know.
I never noticed this myself? Maybe you're stereotyping? Everyone is different and everyone's journey through life is different. I have seen plenty of people on here throughout the years of both genders deal with pretty much the same issues. I only just now got the courage to post on here.
Welcome here, You have made a good step to post here. This community is very support and will help you with improving yourself. About this thread.. I just found it a bit interesting to compare genders when it comes to PA. Some state that they observed the same things I observed. Some are skeptical. I wish you good luck on your journey.
