Okay guys... I blocked pornography on my PC though few ways. 1. https://www.google.co.in/preferences?hl=en Click on "Turn on safe search". So it will be impossible for google to show porn sites if you decide to type something of that context on google, for searching. 2. Block porn via DNS server All you have to do is to go to: > Control panel > Network and internet > Network and sharing center > Local area connection (in my case) > Properties > Internet protocol version 4 (TCP/Ipv4) > Properties > Use the following DNS server adresses > And finally, type there: 208.67.222.123 208.67.220.123 3. I Installed K9 Web protection It's simple, all you need is to download K9, and put your own password. It would immediately block all pornographic or sexual material, even bikinis, ahahaha. Anyway, very nice and useful filter: www.k9webprotection.com 4. DNS Angel https://www.sordum.org/ Go there and download DNS Angel v1.5, it's simple to install and click on "DNS family" mode. 5. Block pornography in router directly Follow these steps: For Tenda users: For TP link users: 6. Net Nanny Download Net Nanny: https://www.netnanny.com/downloads/windows/ 7. Tiny Filter https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tiny-webfilter-anti-porn/hijnjfkkfccbdcgbbcdidhgfgfhiapib Just add it as extension if you use Google Chrome It will automatically block everything with "Porn" or "Sex" in title. Even, sadly, nofap.. But you can change it very simply, just change command on "trust this site". I hope it would help you guys. OK NOW, CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO BLOCK KEYWORDS ON YOUTUBE TOO? For example: Fetish (or things like that).
And can someone tell me any way to block ALL PORN MATERIAL (& EVEN ADS) FOREVER? I'm about to quit everything about it, even mention of that word "porn" except in negative meaning, hahahaha!
This extension is not bad: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/keyword-blocker/pbgacppomjfpheddhifkdkklddnolnpg/related
Tired of these things Even Youtube had became soft p site..I am angry.showing sexy thumbnails etc etc.. Even turn on age restriction on youtube wont work.
The shortened word 'porn' has many powerful associations in our culture and also in our minds. I think it is better to use the full word 'pornography' because this seems more official and less familiar.
You can't block the world. No app can stop you from seeing clothing store adds and sporting store flyers from newspappers discarded on side of the road at some point you havehavhavehavel tt nonno loolloloo. heTheyheyTheyTheThT
hey @balkanic_falcon, has this combo really worked to block all porn from your computer? i've tried k9 and other options in the past and invariably it seems like some material slips past the censors. also, curious to know why those numbers, specifically, for the DNS server? thanks for the tips! ben
Thanks for the tip pal. But overcoming my porn habit is the solution and if I run into an add then move on. Simple as that. I have AdBlock for blocking advertisements on youtube and such. Good luck to you.
The K9 blocker is great. I second your recommendation. As for ads - I used Adblock Plus, which cuts out all ads, including the ones the interrupt Youtube. I also used a thing called Stay Focused, which I use to get rid of other sites that could have been a problem (or just time-wasting in general) - that was useful for sites K9 did not block (I added them to the list of blocked sites and set the time limit for the site to the minimum). As it currently stands I have no inclination to seek out P online, and making it unavailable was one of the main ways I started changing things around for me. On another note - I could not find blockers for a smartphone, so I just went and got a flip phone instead.
I think it's good that you are being proactive however, these days i just have google safe search on and that's it! i stick to a few regular websites which are not anything near porn related (hobby related and other boring stuff) the best porn blocker is your mind. I know from my own past mistakes that you can put all the barriers you want in your way but at the end of the day if you want to look at porn you will find a way...let's face it it's not exactly hard to find these days. As someone already mentioned, it will be almost impossible to completely remove ALL types of visual representations of sex or nudity or sexualised imagery because often we will be exposed to it without even looking for it, like in a film or a TV series for example, or you might walk past a seductive billboard ad. That is just the world we live in. The key is how much attention you pay to it, we always have the option of moving along. I hope you get to the point i'm at one day so you won't even have to worry about porn blockers because porn is just not a thing in your life anymore...like that old favourite toy you used to treasure but as time passed it gathers dust in the attic and no longer dictates how you spend your time.
Yes, it worked. I recommend to get a password on tiny filter etc. So you write a long sentence without meaning and go doing something else. You will forget it in 2h or 2 days so you are even more safer.
Unfortunately, one can undo all porn filters before PMOing. Even if one threw away the passwords. I speak from experience.
