What's After Finishing 90-Day?

You have to look at your original reason for joining NoFap. If you feel that you are rebooted and you have resolved your issues, then the goal would be to never become addicted again - so no P. If you are able to M without fantasizing or P and you won't overdo it, that would be ok as well (See NoFap creators post: https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.p...cessive-masturbation-can-be-a-relapse.175311/). In the end, it's all about improving your life.

  2. If you are an addict for a long time like 5 years+ and God knows how many times you've been indulging in it where nerves and sexual organs are damaged. 180 days won't do much let alone 90. There are nofappers in this forum already reached a year and still suffering.

I'm starting to see some advantages only in the last month. It has been a trip through hell from day 80 to day 200.
I've not written a success story, which means i still don't think i achieved any particular success, but in the last month i am starting to look and talk to women without being anxious, and watching them in the eye. Overall i'm normalizing from the terrible withdrawals effect i had. The only advantage i started seeing almost from the start is that the terrible back pain i had all my life started getting better, and it's still getting better.

No super unbelievable stories, like finding a girlfriend or any kind of woman attraction. What i think for now is that nofap is not only worthy, but necessary, and at the same time i think there are also a lot of myths and bullshit about the superpowers and things like that, you know, if you're a heroin addict you don't get superpowers when you stop...

Uhm... i've been watching porn since i was in my teens until i turned 31 and then had my first time with a girl i was interested in and who was also into me at the time.

I dont know exactly, but i think i was at around 30-60 days of Nofap a that time and while still having a light to medium form of PIED, it was still beautiful. And i am pretty sure that if i would have been on Nofap longer it would have been considerably better.
The years of deathgrip took its toll that i had to pay for while i was with her. But i just didnt care much about and neither did she.
I just had a wrong mindset at the time as well, which didn't have much to do with porn.

And i also don't like how discouraging your comment is. I've restarted doing NoFap seriously with the beginning of this year and i can already see the sensitivity coming back noticeably.

This forum and especially the thread about deathgrip helped me tremendously with that.
Special thanks again to @Optimum Fortitude for the help.

  5. Our story is similar man... I have lower back and abdominal pain. I used to feel those pains 1 to 2 years into my addiction but continue for years pmoing disregarding those issues. I think they correlate to the nerves in my brain. Sometimes I can't even stand or walk straight. The other my dad asked me "why I always at sleep and feel sluggish" and stated " I wasn't used to be like this." For female attraction, in my best day where the withdrawals slow down they seem to have interest. In my worst they avoid you at all cost.

  6. My comment is not discouraging... it's to let you know what may happen the further you go into reboot. You gonna have good and bad days but mostly bad in early stages. Each recovery case is different. In mine I used to indulge a lot like hours fapping to porn and orgasming.

Just to give another side of the story...I've been fapping for 10+ years and I got rid of DE in about 30-40 days. I plan to never look at P again, which is not that hard for me anymore. I still allow some M 1-2x every 1-2 weeks and I never fantasize about anything. It's more a pressure release and things are normal now, so I would consider myself rebooted already, but finishing an official 90 days just to really be sure. It all depends how addicted people get, but at its worst I was edging for hours day and like 4x/day. And the P got extreme and weird, but that's all gone now and I'm feeling really good about it.

That means I'll have to see first whether 90 days will work to diminish my PMO habit or not. Thanks for the insight @Freddom_Taker

  18. I highly recommend more than 90 days, I just don’t believe it’s enough for a full recovery it takes years, the longer u abstain the more life becomes so much better!

  19. Yes, YES, YEEESSSS. The purpose I believe isn't perpetual NoFap....once you get rid of the porn and the addiction and your body and mind are set free then there seems to be no reason to continue. I like this answer the best, so far.

  20. No I don't think that is supported by the NoFap philosophy. I need to keep reading all the literature though.
