Dear Friends, I am struggling with every Friday night. the Friday nights are much triggering. The week days are fine with me. I do not know why I am relapsing every Friday. Last Friday also I did P and M but not O. Can any body suggest me how to handle this Friday night.
Could be that you have a set routine that you often stick to on the weekdays.. That is if you work or go to school/college. Maybe you need to get yourself a set routine for your fridays on what you are going to do once your back from work. Write it down on a piece of paper in the morning so you know what it is you want to be doing that day and stick to it.
A Simple Solution Could Be To Observe yourself intently during these periods. Observe yourself when you are being triggered or have already been triggered and try to analyze where it came from. Once you've analyzed it, try to work around it, put preventative measures in place so it will not happen again. Prevention is better than cure, and by finding your triggers, you can avoid relapse and achieve greatness. It's a learning process, you'll get there.
In addition to the good suggestions above, try this: On Sunday through Thursday, when you first wake up in the morning, say five times as loudly as your living arrangements will allow, "I WILL not masturbate THIS WEEK." Mean it when you say it. Promise yourself. Then, on Friday morning, say, "I WILL not masturbate TODAY." That night, when you're tempted, just reflect on all those promises to yourself and say, "No! I'm just not gonna do it this time!" It sounds simplistic, but you know that's what you want, so use every tool in the box to get there.
