Are wet dreams normal / part of the rebooting process? I'm on day 46 hard mode and have had 2 wet dreams, almost exactly 1 month apart. Btw I'm 18 years old. Thanks
Nothing to worry about here. Sometimes a few people have reported getting wet dreams during the reboot process but it goes away.
Some males get occasional wet dreams, some get lots, some never get any at all. It's an individual variation thing. For those who do, it's perfectly normal, natural, and involuntary. For some males, the frequency of wet dreams seems independent of whether they get other release; but most males who don't get them think that it's because they fap a lot. Kinsey suggested that it might work the other way around: They fap more because they don't get wet dreams. I haven't ejaculated in 119 days, but I haven't had a single wet dream. If you have them, great; and your reboot is still good.
Hey that's really great 119 days hard mode, what are some of the benefits you hae noticed? I'm not just doing it for the benefits but I'm looking to heal my mind and body. Sorry to detract from original post also! Have a good day pals
I haven't had a wet dream in about 3 years. They stopped as soon as I started meditating. Some people don't get wet dreams, so it probably means that their emotional state is quite balanced already. Meditating balances mind, body and soul (emotions). Many others on the nofap journey have also testified the power of meditation and how it can stop wet dreams. Wet dreams mean there's a part of you that is unbalanced. Your mind is unbalanced and unaligned and is simply doing it's own thing when you're asleep. Meditation helps you to become more one with yourself and less scattered between body, mind and soul. Meditations helps to adjust that. Like others have said. Wet dreams do in no way ruin your streak, but they can make you more horny, and therefore they can be a distraction, so most would rather not have them anyway. I suggest meditation.
Today is only my 80th day without fapping, but it's my 119th day since release. (This is because I was into long-term un-cummed edging before I stopped fapping entirely, but that's another story). As to benefits, I've noticed a big boost in motivation to exercise regularly and to get things done that I've been failing to find the time to do. In addition, there is definitely a certain boosted self-respect or pride in succeeding (thus far) in what I previously thought impossible (giving up fapping for so long). None of these benefits resulted from giving up orgasm, only from giving up fapping.
