I don’t like it. I hate it. Incredibly annoying and stressful. Occasionally some dirty stuff could get on my mind and it’s like a raging fire. I’ve tried to stop so many times and instead it becomes two times worse. I’m not so sure how to handle these.
I recommend cold shower if possible, standing in the cold water makes You think about literally nothing else than the cold
yeah, going through the same thing. it hits me hardest after a long day of work. but a brief moment of un-earned pleasure isn't worth what's given back (shame,lethargic,depression)
The more you try not to think about something, the more you’ll think about it. The method is not to stop, but redirect. My mind is constantly focused on A. Unwanted thoughts do slip in here and there, and when it does I remain calm and slowly redirect my mental focus to something else. It’s okay for a bird (unwanted thoughts) to hover or fly by over your head... just don’t let it land on it.
