Some priests who didn't have ejaculation for 40 years and more never had prostate cancer or any similar diseases. Some of them died around 90 years old.

thanks for bringing this up. without having a particular agenda, making money is already a good reason to keep you stuck with porn and masturbation... it could be political, but it does not have to be. i think the porn industry is just surfing on the wave of the Internet... and politicians are more puppets to companies trying to make the world work according to their plans than the opposite

Like a user said previously it's related to money. I also think that the left and liberal waves that occured in west countries in the 60's and 70's are responsible for that as well.

 

I don't believe there is a big organized conspiracy that is aiming to make men weak by encouraging masturbation to porn. Actually wouldn't it make more sense for the government to want strong men to keep the nation successful and prosperous?

I think it is an accidental by product of the sexual liberation movement where in the effort to stop the shaming of non mainstream lifestyles (gay, trans, etc). Remember how back in the day people were shamed for even masturbation like it was a sin?

Now it is encouraged to be "sex positive" which is good, but ironically if people say "hey maybe it isn't good to jerk off everyday to porn from a young age" you are suddenly not "sex positive" and you must be silenced. They say that there's nothing wrong with porn ("it's healthy!") and therefore anything against that notion is wrong and should be silenced.

This is why the NoFap is ridiculed and called misogynistic by websites like Twitter and Reddit.

 

Also I know I just rambled about everything besides prostate cancer, but I did (admittedly) a quick search, and a literature review from 2016 looked at 16 different studies on prostate cancer and ejaculation, and found that there were too many conflicting results to say that frequent ejaculation was related to lowered prostate cancer risk.

So basically, people still saying that frequent ejaculation lowers prostate cancer risk don't know what they're talking about.

bogus info for those who want people to keep masturbating claiming its healthy.

 

The study said that masturbating frequently "could" "lower the chances" of prostate cancer.

Which means, that it is not discarded the possibility of masturbating as a protecting factor (which means that they haven't enough evidence to say that it could do nothing at all), and what it does is "lower", not prevent (which means that if masturbating is really a protecting factor, the masturbating population will have a lower rate of prostate cancer. BUT, that doesn't mean that the the difference between one group and another is medically significant, just that there is a difference).

 

To bounce off the comment above, I think an important distinction here is that while masturbating may lower the chances of prostate cancer(for the sake of the topic lets assume this is true), that does not mean NOT masturbating leads to prostate cancer or increase the chances of getting it, it just means you don't have anything lowering the chances so you're as much at risk as the average man before taking precautions like masturbation(again, just disregarding other health factors for the sake of the topic). Not taking a precaution doesn't increase your chances above the average let alone actually cause the issue itself, it just means you're at average risk.
