A few things that will help in quicker recovery : 1. Start early. People in their early 20s, this is the golden time to quit. It gets much harder after 25 and even harder after 30s. 2. Pls read thoroughly about the symptoms of flatline - they are as bad as drug withdrawal or ssri withdrawals. Take the ques from people who have been there- done that & avoid this self inflicted misery 3. Deep sleep. Just switch off Digital devices by 8PM (earlier the better) and sleep from 10 PM To 6AM atleast 4. Just quitting porn and masturbation will not help much for long term porn users. You have to do semen retention (including avoiding nightfall as much as possible) The semen that is not discharged gets reabsorbed in body and nourishes body especially the brain. I will attach a few links in comments to substantiate this , but the best way is trial and error. Just go monk mode for 6 months - no PMO and no semen discharge at all (no sex too) . The anxiety, depression, mental disorders just go away!!! This is not a hyperbole, you have to try it to believe it. PIED gets cured much faster in this regimen. Bottomline for getting your older happier state ::: Just quitting PMO will not help. Semen retention is paramount. This force is life giving & life creating , wasting it is necessarily wasting one's life force & seriously damaging neural health. Many other things like exercise, good food, social circle help too - but pls trust me on this - no semen retention = no recovery.
Mostly due to porn and orgasm related to porn. As I am unmarried, I had intercourse just 2-3 times in my life. So u can safely say multiple flatlines happened as after a streak of some weeks -- my libido went out of control & succumbed to porn and masturbation

I was on monk mode, so semen loss by any means --even not a nightfall. After some months, libido touched sky & I lost control over myself as I wasn't able to handle the sexual energy. Now I have found many practices to lessen the overdrive via yogic practices. Even meditation helps a lot

Agree --- so maybe I shouldn't have written the term FLATLINE in my post. Basically, dopamine dysregulation over the years have caused me severe anxiety & related symptoms. PIED was not so much for me as I didn't watch porn daily & also had small abstinence stints in the past many years
