I mean. Sometimes I feel like we're the only ones still masturbating/watching porn. I remember when I was in 9th grade a I told a kid that I masturbated. He laughed and said "who the fuck masturbates?". He then told the whole class about it and I felt bad. I thought 'surely other people jack off'? I never had the courage to talk to girls in highschool (although in college I was a lady's man) and I felt that I was doing something wrong. Then I discovered YourBrainOnPorn and found out that porn was responsible for me being a loser. So I quit porn and things changed for the better. Next thing to quit is masturbation but I still wonder are we really the only people who masturbate?
The vast majority of people of both genders masturbate. No doubt this kid did as well, but wasn't as open about it as you. I have no idea what 9th grade means btw.
Freshman/9th grade is usually entered at age 14, and turn 15 at some point during the year. And no you arent a loser. If a guy says he doesnt fap at all in High School, most likely he is lying. Im not sure about girls though. Masturbation is normal, and nothing to be ashamed of
Porn is only one of the reasons you're a loser. But it's not the only reason. Even if you completely cast it out of your life, there are still other things holding you back, whether it's low self-esteem, lack of motivation and drive, or even poor fitness. Porn in and of itself is simply a coping mechanism for people who can't face their problems head on. As you go through this challenge you'll get a better understanding of who you are and what values are important to you. THAT and that alone is the true benefit of this site, not the length of time you can go without fapping or viewing porn. My prediction is NoFap will be the impetus behind your transformation into a real adult.
Thank you @Judicious 7. I wonder if some Americans think the world begins and ends at their shores! Different countries have different grade scales, so it is much more helpful to others to simply say their age at the time - that is a universal measurement. Words like freshman are Americanisms and mean little to those who speak English. Thanks again mate.
Oh he PMO-ed as much as you did, c'mon man! Back in my schooldays we were BRAGGING about it as soon we hit the puberty. What they didn't know is that I already started at the age of 7 lol. He is the loser for making fun of it and being too much of a pussy not to be open about it and yet made a fun of you, I mean masturbation in puberty kinda goes without saying. But yeah, I think we were all dorks as kids. I've heard that in England they tried to do a research on difference between guys who PMO and guys who don't and they couldn't find enough of those who don't, so they couldn't go on. Therefore the question is not "who the hell PMOs?", but rather "Who the hell doesn't?". And no, I don't think we are losers. We are P addicts and that's it. Compare us to those that are not even trying to fight it and tell me who the real losers are.
My friend once put it very well to me: If you ask if they watch porm you'll get one of three responses: Yes: Theyre honest No: They do, but they are embarassed and are lying Not now, but I used to: exactly what they said. They used to, but for watever reason they quit. Basically we are different becaise we have a grib on life and dont.
Probably because it's too large. As for the OP: not sure of your background, but at the schools I was attending it would probably be more lame to admit to NOT masturbating. Which was very sad, in fact.
what exactly is a "loser" anyway? If you mean people who aren't successful then that is incredibly subjective. One could argue a man isn't successful career wise, but if he raising children good or contributes in some way to others I would argue the guy is just as successful as anybody. Now many of us are holding ourselves back from our full potential via porn, but even then at least we know the solution to the problem (many people likely do not), which means everyone that has the knowledge can overcome it, its temporary for many of us is what I'm saying, so to call us losers is just wrong when we can always just get over that hurdle.
