    The “point of points” largely eludes me 2. But you get them at certain milestones -- mostly related to # of "likes." When u reach such a threshold, points are added in batches.... plus a short explanation is given. I doesn’t seem of great direct importance... but to encourage site engagement and communication with other members is doubtless of great indirect benefit to all of our reboots. Hope that helps!
