I've seen and read about it several times on the forums. If I hadn't deleted my habit tracker ( and the 3 months data i'd collect in it) i'd show my streaks basically i'd go on to making 7 day streaks but then relapsing again. my relapses would be one or two. but if i relapsed after a 20 day streak i'd not be able to get a streak going for a week and this just happened recently. what i want to know is how to get away from this powerful effect and what to do once it has started
Chaser effect = craving more relapses after you break the streak since our mind is programmed that "damn! I broke the streak! I don't fkin care anymore and just gonna relapse". It is extremely dangerous, be sure to control your urges 1 to 7 days after the first relapse
