I had a naturopathic doctor tell me one time that diet and lifestyle play a role in reprogramming your body system. He told me not to eat grains because it is feminizing. He also told me soy is by far the most feminizing. He told me that there is something in grains and whole grains that bind to minerals and some vitamins so we don't absorb and utilize them. Magnesium is one of them. I could be wrong, but i think i heard him say that magnesium suppresses the horny feeling. But i notice that when i don't eat grains. About a week in, i begin to take risks and get brave etc. My social anxiety tends to lessen up significantly etc. Just throwing it out there to help others. I want to thank everyone in NoFap community for the support.
My advice, don’t have breakfast. No lunch either if you can muster it, and if you do have lunch make it an apple or one bread roll. For dinner have something similar and then don’t eat again. That’s what I’m doing. I’m 6’1 in height and not fat, but have a little excess weight on the belly I’m going to get off. I’m riding my bike 10 km or more every second day too. No games anymore. Cold showers too. Nofap is about just doing it and no more excuses. I’m all about results.
I think that seeds and nuts have the same thing in them. Called phytate. But in lesser amounts than in grains. I would stay away from them.
Don’t buy in to the talk saying this regime is unhealthy. That talk is holding you back. Unhealthy food choices is what’s truly unhealthy. What I’m promoting actually works, and it works fast. The only obstacle is the willingness to actually do it, and on a regular basis. That’s what people have the most problem doing, same thing as staying true to nofap. Fasting is proven to be beneficial.
I am doing fasting one or two days per week. especially weekends. At least 16 hours above for a fasting day.
