Hi, my name is wendigo, I've been trying to quit porn for a long time. I have been using a counter up until recently. I always found it difficult to track progress on a counter, since it never feels like you're 'actually progressing' if you relapse after a certain amount of time. I always felt devastated, ashamed and disappointed in myself after every relapse. it was only until I decided to go with a spreadsheet instead that I began to feel like I was actually making some measure of progress. Anyway, what do you guys think?
I guess whatever works, spreadsheet definitely hold more data which can help. But if you're needing to reset so often, some level of disappointment and discomfort could be helpful too.
