it started off well but boredom takes over and i start viewing porn. what do you guys do?, there's only so much you can do in a day.
I don't have any suggestions. It's utter insanity! I wish it ends soon, and by that I mean yesterday. (But that's never gonna happen!)
Same here, April has been a rough month for me: Can't use this as an excuse to fall back into old habits though, as much as my brain has been trying to rationalise it.
I also struggled, but I started a new journal, and right now I am on a longer streak than I have been since January. I can see the coronacation as an opportunity to recover: it's easier (for me) to not relapse when I don't have classes and traveling.
Guys, come on! A bit more creativity... Here are a few ideas to pick from: - Rise early - Establish a morning routine - Meditate / Pray / Journal - Learn a (new) instrument - Learn a (new) language - Get in shape / move - (Re-)establish contact with people in your life, maybe reach out to new people (LinkedIn etc) - Learn coding - Learn stocks trading - Read - Listen to music - Write - Play That, my friends, is already more than enough to fill a man's day. Cheers to you, stay strong and courageous!
An idle mind is a devils workshop. Yes, things become difficult when we don't have much things to do, so try to fill the gaps with some good habits. I've started reading non-fiction books and learning programming. You should also treat this free time as a golden opportunity to upskill yourself by incorporating new good habits, it will automatically fill the idle time and keep you busy, thereby keeping you away from porn. Here are some things I can list down: 1. Read books 2. Learn a foreign language 3. Learn music 4. Learn new things related to your profession 5. Start meditating & exercising etc. The list can go on, you get the idea. Start scouting for ideas and get onto it, don't keep yourself free, it will make you vulnerable. Good Luck.
the key is just leave that technological thing's in your hand. and start doing sometinng then boredom would not hit you i mean u can go religious way read some bible or recite the holly Qur'an (depend on your religion) or go creative way... learn new language, start drawing etc
