I have a problem with sleep fapping, when I have woken up but am in an unaware state where I will fap and then immediately fall back asleep. I am awake, but I have little control as I am not fully aware and nofap is not something I am aware of at all when this happens. I have done everything from wearing gloves to bed and tight pants, but I feel like this is much more a problem of a lack of control in my subconscious mind when I have not fully woken up. I feel like wearing tight pants to bed is not the answer and I need to train myself to avoid this.

Any advice on how I can avoid this?

Again I am awake while fapping, but only in a semi awake state. immediately falling back asleep and having very little awareness.

    thanks

Meditation right before you go to sleep can help.

    Yes, meditation can help.

While meditating keep repeating something like 'I stay celibate at night'.

If you're lucky it will help within the first week.

    But consistency is key.

Also work on getting right out of bed when waking up.

Just to get in the habit of being conscious while waking up

You can use apps like headspace, calm etc which has guided meditation which is easiest to do. You can also sit down on floor in comfortable cross-legged position(or on chair if you can't) and simply count the breaths. Count 1 (in your mind) as you breathe in and count 1 again as you breathe out. Do it slowly but don't force it. Count till 10 and then count back ward 10 to 1 using same technique. There is a great subreddit r/meditation on reddit which has tons of great resources. Goodluck!
