Yesterday i was on day 7 of my reboot. I spent a lot of time at home and so temptation grown up on me. I stopped thinking, i went on two porn sites, i had my eyes closed because i was undecided, the I opened a site but the ONLY thing i saw before closing the net was the face of a pornstar still dressed. I spent 20 minutes browsing google with names of porn sites but did not enter.During all this i barely thouched my erection even if i was extremely horny. I remained horny for the rest of the day and so during night i had a wet dream about PORN.
    Should i reset my count?

That depends on your goal. You need to make certain rules for yourself in order for you to know when to reset. If you decided to reset whenever you intentionally view P, then it's up to you fapstronaut. Just an advice, avoid any sexually stimulating. This then is the temptation leading to relapse. So more power to you my friend! Goodluck!

My ultimate goal is to get rid of porn and be more aroused by normal girls. Also to me watching porn and fapping are the same thing right now. The truth is, i am an 18 years old virign. I don't know if i have porn ED but i intend to prevent the problem.
I figured this out: this may count as a relapse or not, the only thing i have to do is keep going forward clean.

I would say no! Yes - you went on a porn site but you didn't watch porn. What's the difference at looking on a porn star dressed up and looking at a underwear model that you unintentionally looked at when opening page 6 on your favourite newspaper? None. I would see it more as a good sign that you have CHOOSEN not to look at porn. You were probably 1 click away from it but you said no. Even if it took you 20 mins. Your mind and will power not to watch porn this time won this battle. Next time think about that and how easy it was or if you don't wan't to get in this situation again just install a porn site blocker.

Your choice. But you caused yourself as much damage as you would have done if you watched porn and masturbated.

Don't agree Clumsy. Wet dreams are not even close to same level as the conscious act of touching genitals while watching porn. Not even close. Sure wet dreams caused by looking at porn the day before is a set back, but not nearly as big as a full blown PMO.

I remember reading somewhere that you shouldn't come near the edge of the cliff to see how far you can get without falling. Anyway, good thing you held yourself back in time.

You can do so if it feels like the right thing to do, but it is not necessary. You didn't watch porn and you didn't masturbate. A wet dream might of happened anyway or it could be because you were extra horny. There are few absolutes when it comes to all this because we are all different.

I would recommend that you click on my counter (below) and set up your own with a modest goal to start with (just a few days). Also, click yes to the tick marks so you can see how you are progressing. You will have to decide if you are going hard mode - no porn, no edging, no masturbating and no orgasm (excluding times when you are asleep).

  10. I think you were very strong to stop the triggering process in the beginning!
So you even made a progress! So don't reset the counter; even more, mark this event as a little "highlight" on your path.

IMHO, all that "counting" and questions about "relapsing or not" are not so important.

Finally, the real important questions are:

Did you try to ESCAPE from making some important decision ?
Did you try to ESCAPE from having an uneasy talk with someone?
Did you try to ESCAPE from doing some heavy or difficult work ?
Did you try to ESCAPE from dealing with some negative emotions ?
    ...

What I mean: The addiction is covering up important decisions in our life.
We use the addiction as a way to "cope" with emotions and conflicts; we use the addiciton to ESCAPE from taking uneasy decisions.

The way out of PMO is to change our way to deal with emotions and decisions.
If we feel that an urge is building up, and if we can deal with this urge in an early state, then we make progress.

Mental "celibacy" is different from physical "celibacy." I am first going for physical celibacy, because that is hard enough. The mental one takes more time and training, or so I read. Nevertheless, I do not think you should be too hard on yourself, so do not reset your counter. My best wishes to you! Stay strong and clean

@FreedomFlight, I hadn't read your post yet but I fully agree with your views. Inspiring! I think that there is indeed a clear link between PMO'ing and escapism. All addictions ranging from computer addiction to smoking addiction are essentially forms or manifestations of escapism. Thank you for sharing your views! :)
