I quit porn two weeks ago , I hadn't been watching it but it seems like masturbating is harder to quit than porn . My libido is very low almost non existent , last night I got a strong urge to masturbate . At first I thought Oh I got my libido back ,but when I went to masturbate I felt like I couldn't get aroused and I lost my libido again but I masturbated because I still felt in urge too . I'm not sure what's going on and I don't know what's happening . Can some one explain what's going on ?
You need to give it time. Your brain is still trying to rewire itself and it definitely does not happen over night. Your brain is battling years of habits, but if you stay persistent, things will eventually start to turn around for the better. It may take another few weeks for you to be able to MO again ... or longer ... but don't lose hope. Your brain is used to getting aroused and eventually leading to O with the artificial visual stimuli of P. Your brain has been conditioned to get off on P, so trying to reach O "naturally" is now unnatural to your brain. What you're trying to do by not watching porn and withholding masturbation is to allow your body's natural processes to get back into equilibrium. Once your body gets back to normal again, you shouldn't have any issues getting aroused without P. How old are you, by the way? I would highly advise you look into exercising your pelvic floor muscles if you are having trouble getting aroused naturally without porn.
