    Can anyone give any ideas of how to prevent edging and masturbation

  3. Find your motivation to do any activity that gets you off your computer and out of your room and form new habits!

    1st thing to do is make a clear commitment to yourself that you absolutly want to give up porn.

    Then set some realistic goals (smaller ones can be outgrown so don't set a stupidly unrealistic one) :)

    Thanks for the advice. As I further taught about it, for me edging and M occur mostly at night, when I am about to fall asleep. Also what to do when shit hits the fan-urges hits with 110% or more of its strength suddenly
     
  5. Exercise!!!! (even a few push ups in your room) I cannot emphasise this enough! It burns that excess energy and brings you back into a grounded in-control state.

    otherwise.. Read, watch a film, learn new stuff. watch something funny, draw, paint..

    Next best - take a cold shower! always works for me! :cool:
