So i needed to start somewhere. Porn has been a daily part of my life for 12+ years or so and I never really thought it was a problem. This changed a couple years ago. It feels like my time could be spent more efficiently so I’m trying to make a change in bad habits and I’m hoping to figure out who I am in the process.

    Hey! Welcome, Uncorrupted.

This is indeed a good place to start. I'm not that much further ahead of you, but I want to help you anyways. Sometimes getting started is hard enough, and it's nice to have someone to bounce ideas against and relate with, you know?

So as to initiate a conversation, let me ask you a question: why do you want to quit? Or, phrased even better, why do you want to self-improve?

It's always a good idea to first start with a clear motive why you want to do a thing. By showing interest in abstaining from PMO, I see you have an interest in improving yourself. Good! But now, clarify it. Distill it.

Always remember this fundamental motive. Once you know yours, it will help you endure the inevitable urges come.

I highly suggest you to start reading habit (non fiction) which can accelerate your recovery process. Just read 5-10 pages/day
