28 days complete. 4 weeks!!!! This all feels so easy and simple sometimes. I'm waiting for the next challenge that I can fight through.
I'm involved in a Seven Pillars Recovery Group which is part of Pure Desire Ministries. Can't say enough good stuff about it. You want to know more, please ask. I'm doing my homework tonight and distracted by this.
We seem to be buried in prayer requests right now....
14 year old boy with an inoperable brain stem cancer set home on palliative care. My daughter went to kindergarten with this boy. My wife is friends with his mom. UPDATE: This boy died this morning.
17 year old high school senior boy died early early early Saturday morning when he was out doing stupid with his friends. He snuck out of the house and was riding on the running boards and fell off hit his head and died. A friend of mine was like a Dad to him and is pretty torn up. This boy's own dad died a year or two ago from alcoholism. This boy's a classmate of my son.
Another High School senior boy and also classmate to my son, and also starting quarterback of the football team lost his 48 year old mother to cancer last week. We knew his mother from sitting in the baseball stands and football stands watching our boys.
Just seems like a lot of loss right now.
