Is this your first streak? If so, then your mind has a whole lot of rebooting and healing to do. Your nofap journey will reveal who you truly are, but you first have to get past the PMO demons that have been keeping you from healing.

Don't obsess over this. A little curiosity means nothing really - certainly not that your sexuality has changed. If you were homosexual, you would be much more involved in it with your mind and with your porn choices.

I wouldn't worry about it too much man. Like you said you really like girls and thats where your main attraction is. I have had some curious thoughts before and even seriously contemplated experimenting a time or two but I don't think i'm bi/gay. I could never see myself being emotionally involved with another guy in that way. I don't think it is that strange to have curiosities, I'm pretty sure more guys do then they let on.

    Hey dddddd,

I've been reading a book on porn addiction called 'Your Brain on Porn: Internet Pornography and Emerging Science of Addiction. In the part I'm at, they're talking about people who struggled with depression throughout going PMO free. I hope it's ok, to use this quote from the book.

"Staying off porn really makes a difference! I thought it was impossible to quit porn to the
point of contemplating castration and suicide. Here's one thing I actually didn't know that
helped me out: People who view 'transsexual' porn do it because of all the stimulation, and
even the producers admit that they make this fetish for a straight audience. My thoughts that
I might have been bi/gay were more of an optical/psychological illusion."

Not sure if that helps you get a bit more understanding. They talk further in the book about how you can become confused about your sexuality.

    Anyway, good luck!

I went through a phase where I doubted my sexuality. I even went as far as hiring transexual escorts and going out in search of random hook ups. Now that I've been clean for just a few days, I realise it was just my brain looking for novelty, which is the big attraction with PMO. The way it works is you start off on the porn that matches your sexuality, but then that becomes boring, so your brain goes looking for something else. For a lot of people, that can mean they start looking at gay or bi porn just to ease the craving for novelty. It doesn't mean your sexuality has changed, just that you've been craving novelty.

That said, I pretty much reject labels such as "gay", "straight" or "bi". I think we're basically all on a spectrum, with some being more curious than others. In the end it doesn't matter all that much. Just keep going with your reboot, let your brain get back to normal, and then you'll know where you really sit.

Agree with the comments above, I can also completely empathise with this. Steel Fury is right, it's about the novelty. I believe that this question is also answered in the FAQ section of yourbrainonporn.com.

Bottom line is, if you think that you're 'straight', you almost certainly are.

What IGY said. Take a look man. You're not the only one who questions their sexuality. A lot of us are confused because of what we watch on porn and think porn reflects what we are sexual attracted to. As the book says, you're addicted to the porn sensation. Porn tastes and sexual desires are two very different things. There are stacks of quotes I could mention.

I know it's confusing. Defiantly check it out. You're not alone my friend. Good luck to you! :)
