    Hi,

P and m are a struggle for all of us. One of the other issue that I'm trying to control is objectifying women. I'm sure this is also an issue for most people here?
I've been having some success recently with my thoughts. Usually in the past when I see a lady my first thought would be if I would have sex with her or not, or how hot she is. I would vocalize this thought in my mind. This is terrible I know, but I might as well be honest.
One can't help seeing beautifull women on a day to day basis unless you are a hermit or live in a monastery so I need to control my thoughts.
Recently I've found it easier than expected.
When I see a lady I ignore the impulse to make a statement in my mind. I do not remark to myself about her and then it passes. I feel if I don't vocalize the thought in my mind it really helps.
Maybe I'm just foolig myself but I'm hoping that this will help me break my longest stint of ten days and build on it.
    Any thoughts.

I agree. Your signature says it perfectly. Also, very important to keep your stress levels as low as possible during your reboot.

I understand exactly where you are coming from. That's one of the biggest reasons I'm quitting PMO. It makes it so hard to not objectify women, to not think about sex when you see them. When we watch porn we train our brains to associate women with purely physical pleasure. The thoughts will not stop as soon as we cut the porn out, it will take time. But like you said it is already getting better for you, as it is for me. We just have to catch ourselves when we have those thoughts, tell ourselves no, these thoughts are not right. Women are not sex objects, they deserve love and respect just as much as we do, and when treated right, a woman can be the best thing to ever come into our lives.

Noone deserves respect without earning it. If you respect them because they have boobs, something is wrong.

I can't agree with this. Everybody deserves respect until do do something to lose it. You have it backwards my friend.
I'm very interested in your thoughts on this?
    Anybody else agree with me?

I think your misunderstanding each other. You two are looking at the same picture from different angles. Respect must be earned, at the same time, you can be respectful to others...but I think that comes from respecting yourself.

I have to disagree. If you drool over them and fantasize about how far you can ram your dick up in them because they have boobs then something is wrong... My point was we need to treat and view women as people, not sex objects and pleasure toys. I have to agree with lemonquack, Everybody deserve respect until they do something to lose it.

We seem to have different definitions of respect.
To me respect is something earned by great deeds. Like if someone does a frontflip and you say "Respect."
You seem to mean treating women as people rather than blow up dolls. Which I agree, is an improvement. Although it makes it sound like you want to ignore they are of different gender.

What Diesel said pretty much, thanks.

First and foremost, to the OP, do what you need to do to achieve your goal here. That being said, there's nothing disrespectful about noticing a woman's beauty and deciding if she's sexually desirable or not. Most beautiful women work very hard to look good, and not just for men but also to other women. They want people to notice. Not only that, they do the same thing to us men as well, and there's nothing disrespectful about that either. It's being human. Of course, obsession over it isn't healthy.
