I've never had wet dreams in my life.
I've been masturbating since I was 12-13 (now I'm 23) and after some reserch I decided to take the 90 days challange because I can clearly see how porn is bad.So no PMO or MO anymore, but I wonder will I experience wet dreams(not that I want them, quite contrary)? Are they inevitable to happen? I used to have "sex dreams" before but never wet dreams.

    Hi Bluestblues,

I'm in the same boat as you. I've been rebooting for almost 3 months now with only a handful of relapses and I have yet to experience a wet dream. I think some people just don't get them as much as others (or at all)

Only time will tell. That being said, I know a handful of guys that went hardmode for 200+ days and they never experienced any wet dreams and they worked just fine for sex after reaching day200. Semen retention is a funny fellow and if you don't get release through a wet dream you will typically get it through urination.

I suppose it depends on your body and brain. So far, I've not discovered any general rule. I haven't had a wet dream yet, even though I suppose that after 24 days, the reservoir is well filled.

At first, I kind of hoped for wet dreams because of the release, and hey, no one can blame you for what you dream, but now, I'm just thankful for every moment that my brain is free to occupy itself with other things than sex, conscious (day) or unconscious (night).

    Best of luck!

Thank you for your responses!I didn't know that it will get out through the urine.
I guess we are one of the lucky ones who don't get wet dreams. From the statistics on the internet majority of men will experience wet dream at least once in their lives (83%).

I'm hoping to beat the challange without relapses(ultra hard,I know),so far I resisted very strong urges especially on the day 4,but now it is better.

I don't know if it's inevitable, but I'm on my longest streak in 16 years, and I've had two of them this week and very nearly had a third that I woke up just in time to stop (not intentionally). I can tell you that the next day was tougher to resist relapse to P and M for me, so just be alert if you have one and try to stay busy that next day.

I can also say that I felt really good afterward. Not as good as actual sex of course, but a good feeling instead of the kind of scummy feeling after PMO.

Yes, although they may happen after some time anyway, thinking about porn can condition you to have more wet dreams.

50 years old, on 30th day of no PMO and none yet. I believe I've only ever had one in my while life and that was beside my wife-to-be at the time.

I'm not sure if they are inevitable but I am sure that when they occured that you are very calmed and not depressive person anymore and you don't feel the anxiety and it's a normal process that is needed for normal functioning of the body
