Can less fapping help reboot ?

    Hiya,
    I used to fap daily about 2-3 times. however, in the past 11 days i have relapsed twice (on day 5 and day 11), but right now 90 days for a reboot seems a bit overwhelming. so i was wondering, could fapping less (lets say once a week) have a similar rebooting effect (even if its not a full reboot) or must i completely stop for 90 days in order to reboot ?

  2. Some talk about reducing PMO use, such as once a week, with gradually increasing intervals, as helpful. I don't think we have stats on how that compares with the goal of immediate and complete abstinence. I for one don't believe intentionally using PMO is ever helpful, though.
    Personally, I tend to binge when I relapse, so I will not let myself PMO at all if I can help it. Plus, PMO always demands escalation, so I would imagine that even if I could keep up a once a week interval or longer, I'd probably go into harder stuff each time. Then I'd probably start feeling ashamed of myself and just revert back to daily usage.

    I have personally tried that but sadly it was not helpful.
    When after 7 days of not tapping you go and tap, you release huge amount of dopamine and remind your brain of how pleasureful fapping is. That makes it harder and harder for you to continue this routine and you go back to your old ways.

    Plus: if something important coincides with your weekly habit, it would be hard to focus and work towards that important task.

    I'm on day 1 and what I've read and watch on youtube is that a reboot is 90 days of no PMO··· if you frap, you relapse. The youtube videos will help.
