Still able to feel love?

I'm almost 38 years old and feel like an infatuated teenager. I never expected this ever happening again.

I had this problem with my last gf. I knew I should have loved her, I just didnt I was numb.

Imo the brain chemicals are out of sync due to pmo. My abstinence is an effort to find those feelings again someday. (Single now )

 

You also have to allow it happening at the risk of facing the negative side of it later (Ezekiel 36:26). I deliberately do, because it supercharges my creativity, and as a musician I can put the latter to good use. Even in the case of heartbreak I come up with better ideas than in a numb state. That's when roughly 80 % of all songs in this world were written.
