I'm a noob just joining this and trying nofap for the first time. Quick background, 33 male, my habit was at least once a day at night to P. Very social with lots of outside activities but no gf. My main goal is to regain my sensitivity as it is quit difficult for me to O with women. Ive read numerous posts about what to expect when starting. I am currently two weeks in on hardmode. My issue is after maybe some urges the first day I've pretty much flatlined since stopping. No drive, no urges, no need to look at ALL the sites I did before, just dead from the waist down. I am going to the gym every single day and working hard (crossfit) and am eating clean and not feeling depressed. I know it's only two weeks but I've never felt a lack of sex drive like this before. I almost wish I had urges just to know I was normal. Has anyone felt this way immediately after stopping? At what point should I be worried? Thanks for all your help guys.

  2. No worries man, flatline is completely normal and could last from a few days to a few months. For reference, for me, it lasts usually about one or two weeks, starting after the end of week one. But it can last for a much longer time, but it will pass eventually.

Just make sure yu don't trigger yourself just to "make sure" that things are working. They do. Just give them a rest, and they will come back better than ever. Good luck!

Thanks brother. So far no urges to even want to try. It's so weird not having an errection for over two weeks. I guess it's a blessing during the rebooting phase. I'm just focusing on getting in shape and being healthy. Hopefully this will fix itself too.

  5. I'm pretty sure it will. Yes, I agree, it's weird not having boners for a long time, but maybe that is the "default setting". Maybe we shouldn't have boners all the time, only when we want to use it to have sex. I think that we supercharge our sexual drive with PMO and we keep it on the max. Then, when we stop it, it's like pulling our foot from the gas pedal, so the sex drive drops to a base level. Like the core RPM with an engine. It's way different than when we keep it just under the redline.
I think after a succesfull reboot, you regain the contorl of your sex-engine, and you only arouse yourself, when there is sex to be have. But that's just an idea...

Yes. I think this explanation makes a lot of sense.

Everything he said. You've got nothing to worry about, just keep going - flatline is part of the process, you're right on track. (^__^)

Yeah I flatlined early as well and found it to be very helpful in those early difficult days.It can last a few weeks not a big deal.
