So this thread is for everyone who wants to get back on the track. To motivate each other. I'm at my lowest now. But this is road to redemption.

    Some motivation!

Waking up early and acting on your golas and motivating yourself is best way to start comeback.
So right now I have my sesion of massage and stretching of my lower back and listening to this video.
And good thing to stay motivated is when you drive your car to listen to some motivation.
    Our time is coming!

  9. Good luck on your come back. I have been were you are now with using motivational videos, they worked for me for a short period of time. What really helped was knowing my triggers and having way to deal with those trigger aside of porn. Example when i got anxiety or negative thoughts i would use positive affirmations and deep breathing to stay in the moment. Having such systems in place got further

  11. Good. I have gotten to the point where my anxiety and negative thoughts can be managed by me telling myself "i dont have time for this" or "how will this help me make money".

  12. I'm banging out sets of pushups on the reg and have two 15lb dumbbells for curls and other exercises. I've found a part time job I can stand, just need to land it. Spending the bulk of my time learning Python for data science. Also regularly meditating. By this time next year I will be well on my way to a six figure salary and I'll be living somewhere much nicer than where I am living now. I will also have a much larger circle of friends. Its these things or I'm dead.

Actually I kind of want to get away from consistency to some degree. I feel pretty solid about being able to maintain a structure now, but I don't want to be set in my ways, when life gets boring and it sucks and that may lead back to PMO because it just becomes so dead. I don't see that happening easily right now but life isn't supposed to be that rigid anyway, and to me the OP quotes mention of change is where that comes in. I guess a lot of people may just look at that in terms of a specific goal, and change from not having that goal to having it, but I think it needs to be a dynamic kind of discipline instead of always do X Y and Z but always changing. We can mix it up and still be disciplined, people who work out changes up their workout but it's still about fitness, same with our mental and psychological life right?

But if you are not consistent to the things you said you are gonig to do, then you are not doing it right and you will not have benefits that you desire.

Unless you were doing it wrong in the first place. If we experiment with stuff then there's always some margin of error, but you can do that and still help with rebooting. LIke if someone exercises, maybe they don't meet their fitness goals, but in general not sitting in front of the computer all the time probably helps with rebooting. So it ends up being on another level at least in that situation, until maybe you get to the point where it's also a good exercise regimen, and also do it well. That doesn't mean there's no variation of course, people who do HIIT will vary the workout but there's still intensity and the principles of interval training applies.
