It happened.. after 18 freakin days. Everything ive worked for.. just gone in 5 seconds.
I was laying there in the bed with a rockhard boner and i couldnt resist the urge. It was like a devil sitting on my shoulder telling me it was ok, and everything was gonna be alright.

I feel like shit today. Time is going so slow.. I dont even want to go outside today even though i should.
    I feel so ashamed.

Congratulations for reaching 18 days. Its not easy.
It would have been better not to have happened , but what's done it's done.Dont spen more energy and time trying to change the past.It is pointless and impossible! You feel ashamed and guiltily becouse you are trying to change what happened. STOP!
You made a mistake. It happens. The mistake didn't do anything to you. So forgive yourself and don't give up. I know its not easy to think this way and in some sense it feels normal or comforting, but take action and set another goal for yourself ( like breaking your current record ). Think about the success you have had ( 18 days man , its like 23% of 90 days ) how good it felt , what else it allowed you to achieve.

Don't limit yourself! You have the strength to be great ( like beating PMO )!

That is a lie that your mind is telling you to get you back to zero, but the truth is that 18 days is a huge improvement over the norm. use your relapse to learn more about how it happened. write a journal about it. Add that knowledge to your awareness of how this addiction can affect you. write how ashamed you feel in a journal, question why you feel that way, and answer it for yourself. Write until you feel good enough to go for a walk...go for a walk until you are ready to check something off your to do list. before you know it you'll be back on track and you'll realize that the past 18 days has not been for nothing, and you'll do it easier this time.

Everday you resisted the urge is a success. Just because you fall down on your way it doesn´t mean you jump all the way backwards which you have come so far.
Your count may be reset but your body´s and mind´s healing surely not.
Don´t keep lying down, stand up and be proud for reaching 18 days!

    Hey man!

Keep going and stop all this 'I've failed'

You only fail when you give up! 18 days is massive and just think about the changes your brain has gone through already!

    Much love mate

Yeah, whoa you haven't lost everything. The progress you've made has been damaged but not completely undone. Get back up and keep going!

good work HSOnd! This community is very helpful! I've to quit PMO years ago before I heard of NoFap...before it even existed, and wound up relapsing. Tapping into this group makes it much much easier...we are not alone in this :)

oops, I meant to say I "tried" to quit PMO years ago. I am in the process of being free from PMO now, I'm on day 5 :). Sorry for the mistype.

I will be completely free from PMO when it isn't something I have to think about/resist...ever. I believe it is possible to get there largely by rehabilitating those things that we were avoiding with PMO.

I am starting to see that the real underlying cause of this habit is avoidance of certain aspects of my life or myself. I can't say how long it will take me, but I will say that I am all in! And no matter how long it takes I am going to be free from compulsive arousal for the rest of my life.

Good place to be ryan. Embrace the challenge. It may be the most important thing we do in our lives, because everything we do after this will be a direct result of freeing up our own power. The difficulty is nothing but pure opportunity.
