I've been trying NoFap for about 2 years now and only manage 10 days without pmo before I get tempted and give in. I am trying to work on this and am increasing my streak everytime so its positive moving forward.

One thing I have experienced is that after fapping at night, I can not remember my dreams hence having non at all. However after a 2 or 3 day streak I regain my ability to dream and am able to remember them when I wake up.

Has anyone else experienced this ? I feel it has to do with fapping draining the neurochemicals required for dreams such as acetylcholine and seratonin. This shows that fapping can have a huge effect in decreasing the functionality of the brain hence another reason to stay away from it.

Aah good I thought I was the only one. Scary to think that masturbating can have such an affect on the brain.

  4. I think it does. Have had a couple of lucid dreams on some higher streaks. It feels like the mind starts looking for another outlet to express itself, rather than the sexual urge.
