I'm sorry but I don't think this will work. This is utter bullshit and waste of time. That industry is way bigger and powerful than you think. And even if you manage to get it removed. People will just move to other sites. So lets let waste our times. It's better if we convince the youth to not watch porn or atleast don't get addicted to that.

 

I refuse. Porn is not the issue, it is people like us who use it irresponsibly.

 

And 2.3 billion Christians want me to swear my allegiance to God. 1.9 billion Muslims want me to accept the Quran as the word of Allah. Guess what?

I've signed a few petitions recently and will continue to do so. I'm a keen naturalist, particularly birding but anything involving nature will have me in the field with guide books and optics. And if there's a petition which purports to end the on going suffering of a species or genus or habitat preservation for instance (or the humiliation of revenge porn or a young person being sexually exploited, after all we're no longer watching 70's soft core) then they are getting my total support and thanks. Tyrannical?

I expect many in the porn industry would love it if PH and any other free porn site were to be closed down. They're losing money because of them.

 

Not really. They made it available themselves. For those who don't want their videos on ph, they can get it removed. (Some sort of strike) I even created a ph account to upload videos and help my foot fetish buddies but that account got suspended due to strikes on my two videos (yeah they got it removed)

 

As much as I hate my PH addiction, I will always be an advocate for free speech. It's like the most important thing humans have ever created in democratic societies so far. Internet censorship is very dangerous and while censorship of porn might help some PMO addicts, governments will use this legal opportunity to censor non-porn related websites sooner or later. Not a good idea.

 

What of the other sites though? I'm sorry to say but I feel as though it would be a futile attempt...and I think we need to have some more personal accountability rather than try to take down one site.

 

Well, I've heard them say there's no point in taking them down since if you take it down it's uploaded again. Seems like instead of fighting against it they've decided to try and work with it since porn tube sites aren't going anywhere. They make a little bit of money from it but not as much as they used to. The podcast The Butterfly Effect shows how PH affected the industry in a negative way.

this of course would never pass in the west , at least i think since nudity and pornography fall under the jurisdictional protection of the law as expressions of artistic , personal or commercial ventures. not tomention it is a gross infantalization of people to suggest that adults need to have porn prohibited , like alcohol was once in america...
