So I just started today and would like some feedback on some psychological issues I'm dealing with regarding PMO. So I believe I have a lot of anxiety and paranoia because of this and was wondering if there was a way to ignore these "what if" scenarios and constant feeling like something bad will happen to my SO. I've been so deep into the hole that the stuff I'm terrified of is the stuff that gets me off. Now that I've started Nofap all I do is imagine horrible stuff happening to my SO and I feel constantly sick to the stomach. Also I have a very vivid imagination and that's probably my biggest weakness, when it's night time, and I'm restless in bed and my mind is running wild.
As for my lifestyle I workout often, piano, cello, study math and psychology, eat healthy, in an amazing relationship with a girl I want to marry. And my goal in life is to become the greatest at everything I do. Also I've never been someone to have or hang out with friends. I have no problem socializing I just don't have enough time for it. So all I do really is sit in my room studying, eating, or going to the gym. Oh, and I'm in a LDR with my SO because it's summer and we live far away.

So yeah thanks for reading and I appreciate any positive feedback cuz I think that's what I really need right now too.

    Goodluck people!

@4nAngel, I recommend learning about the brain, the way we are wired is counter intuitive, so information about the mind, brain, and body will help. I recommend these books:

    The Paradox of Choice
Change your brain Change your body
    Mindset (Carol Dweck)

    Best wishes!

Hey man I know how you feel OCDish type thoughts are horrific. They don't let up. I personally think mine come from MOIng once a day for ten years, gambling and weed smoking when I was younger. Your not alone buddy. Have you though about breathing excersizes ? They can calm you down. I'm also looking into I think I hae like a candida /leaky gut problem as well. Also there's loads of good brain supplements out there maybe try some of those.? All the best mate

  4. I had similar symptoms but I knew their origin, and they were not related to PMO. I went to therapy to fix it. Not the cheapest but probably the best and quickest solution. My anxiety was in a form of trust issues, which is based on my somewhat emotionally unreliable upbringing. Like, you don't know what to expect from parents, thus you don't know what to expect from others, and ultimately from life, and if you hear enough times that the world is a dangerous place, it's a fucked up, but logical assumption, that "I can't predict anything, anything can happen all the time, and most probably it will be something horrible." It's messed up thinking, but very deeply rooted, but a psychologist has the tools and the knowledge to treat them.
Make your life easier, go see a mind-doc. :)

Ahh no I haven't thought about breathing. I've tried meditation before so I'll get back into it and whenever urges appear and sit down and meditate. Also you sound like me lol I was pretty much the same when I was younger but From 13-16 I was Oing anywhere from 4-6 times a day usually. And yeah I've tried a ton of dietary supplements so I got a couple but thanks a lot for the reply man!

    Throw in some meditation.

Sit still and let the thoughts pass without judgement. Do not react to them only observe them. Not saying thoughts of something happening to your SO, just any thoughts that come up on their own. Do not force them.

Spend 3-5 minutes a day, or longer if you can. Do this daily and find some peace throughout your busy day.

Then as strange as this sounds, smile at your thoughts. Once you have a few sessions of only observation. The more you smile at your thoughts, even the negative ones, more positive energy enters your life.
