Does anyone feel regrets on time been wasted to pmo all these years? Since you could have done something else with your life or career instead of fapping against yourself with the laptop?

  2. Well I certainly realized now the reason why I pushed some incredible women out of my life it was because I was wasting time fapping I even had an ex ask me if I was watching porn and I realize now that's why my performance in bed had gotten average. Couldn't see it at the time though.
And now just seeing how much more driven and productive I am is enough of an incentive to keep going.
Also have been through some job interviews last week absolutely crushed them and have gotten a new job the confidence that comes from this is great. No more looking at your shoes there is so much eye contact.
    Congrats on the 30 days!

Definitely that's one of the things that frustrates me the most about porn is the amount of time I've waste on it.

NoFap is really eye opening for me. I have many regrets. Only now I realised how many mistakes I did in the past. So many missed opportunities, so many things I could have done better. It was like swimming in a small pool when an entire sea is 10 meters away. I'm not old at all but I feel like I wasted away the best years of my life. I could get a girlfriend, I could have friends, I had a chance to be happy, but I decided to watch porn and masturbate for temporary pleasure that would only make me feel worse in the long run. I can't stop thinking about how much I messed my life up and I feel pretty bad. But I don't want to go back to PMO. I don't want to be a degenerate.

i think regret really only happens when your not happy in the moment. but when you do find joy/happiness the past doesn't matter. with that being said im currently regretting everything.

    No,I don't.
Because you can say exactly the same thing about watching TV, playing computer games and scuba diving.

  10. I think you'll find scuba diving to be looked at in a rather positive light even gaming and tv aren't that bad you can't put them in the same category as fapping.

Well, in my opinion it's very individual and it really depends from which perspective you're looking at it in order to decide whether it's a waste of time or no.
A person who doesn't like computer games will find it as a waste of time to play Call Of Duty or GTA 10 hours a day,
same thing goes about watching TV and working out.
If at the current time you find masturbation or any other activity as something that is beneficial for you (whether it's because your girlfriend broke up with you, your dog passed away or you had a fight with your parents)
then I don't think that you should count it as a 'waste' or as something wrong. (as long as it doesn't have a negative effect over you)

    * Please, keep in mind that I've been talking about legal stuff, I will never support illegal activities like drug usage or alcohol abuse

  12. So something bad happens and its ok to get some comfort from fapping yourself away into oblivion?
Damn son I feel depressed so I think I'll go shoot some heroin.
Self destructive behavior is never ok. That's just the addiction speaking.
These kind of behaviors all start of telling you its not that bad then they get their nasty claws in and you struggle to stop even when your situation improves.
Got to stay in the fight bro.

    1) It doesn't necessarily put you into oblivion.
For some people it's just a way to come to terms with the situation and after that it's easier for them to let go and to move on.
(I've gone through this sht by myself so trust me, I know what I'm talking about)

    2) Don't act like a little kid, I said that I've been talking about legal stuff, not heroin and sht
and if we're already talking about it.. you can't compare heroin or any other type of drug to masturbation.
They might be addictive the same way for some but those are two different things.

    3) Masturbation is not a "Self destructive behavior"
if you find it beneficial from time to time and you don't harm yourself by doing it.

  14. Like you said it's subjective. A lot of people find it a self-destructive activity including myself. Doesn't mean that you can't fap and be happy in life. You obviously can. But most people who visit this forum, do so because they have lost a lot of things because of this addiction. You simply are on the wrong side to be preaching about the pros of masturbation.

  15. Yeah, love this.
Too many people forget one of the most important things about opinions.
They have to be put in the right place.
Of course in here we have regrets.
We wouldn't be here otherwise, would we?
Who changes something that is working?

My point is that it's not all black and white as @Henryforward was saying.
I wasn't looking to encourage anyone here to fap or anything like that.
