Will Nofap cure this specific ED problem?

So apparently Nofap has helped many men cure their porn induced ED, but here's where my situation is a little different. I would have a difficult time maintaining an erection regardless of how turned on I was, even when watching porn. I could be watching the hottest video, but still not have a 100% hard erection. I'd have to constantly stimulate my member for it to remain erect, and it would go flaccid as soon as I came. Over the years I've really beat off too much, especially in the last 2-3 years where my depression has gotten worse. Luckily over the past year I've been making positive changes such as weight loss (70 pounds and counting), healthy diet, lifting weights 5-6x a week, and meditating. I don't know if these things helped bec I haven't been with a woman in nearly 3 years now, and last time I was, I couldn't get it up. I have a constant fear and anxiety of that happening again, which is why I started nofap. Granted I'm only a few days in, but so far I've been flaccid almost the entire time with the exception of two days of morning wood. So my question is, will nofap help my specific ED? I'm worried about flatlining...

It's not psychological or physiological anymore, but physical. You probably have low sperm count as well. Or if the load is normal, visibly, it has weak characteristics. Probably barely potent. Physical abstinence, exercise and plenty of food is A MUST for you. Nofap is not for you. You need to build the body not rest it, any longer.

I'm confused. You say I need physical abstinence, but then say nofap isn't for me. Please clarify. Like I said, I'm exercising intensely 5-6 times a week, lifting heavy weights, and my diet is on point. No processed foods or sugars. What else can I do to help my situation??

Gotcha. Yeah I deleted my Instagram account, as all the bikini models I followed were an even bigger trigger for me than porn itself. I'm incorporating many positive things into my life, like cold showers, meditating, yoga, going out to the park, reading more, etc. I've been happy so far, but got super paranoid last night bec I came across a few threads talking about flatlining, and it got me freaked out. What if I don't get erections for like the next 6-12 months???

What's the deal? When there is need, the power will come.
Where there is power, there is responsibility.
You can't expect to smash walls with your abstinence by having iron man boners like hulk.

I'm in almost exact boat, except I'm married. I haven has a meaningful erection in a almost 3 years and my porn use has exponentially increased just before that.

I just relapsed today after only a week and I'm just so frustrated with myself.
Hang in there Belching_Booch. I feel your pain.

So to get this right, you are here because you believe your ed was caused by pmo. But you are worried that stopping pmo will make your ed worse?

Why do you assume a low sperm count. Also you talk about physical abstinence and then say that nofap is not for him? I don't get ya

Dude go visit a few urologists. Try to get older and famous ones. Nobody knows whether their ED is a medical condition or addiction related. You need to find it out yourself.

In my case i have visited experienced urologists a few times and they say i im A-okay. But i i still couldn't get it up with both porn or actual female. After rebooting and rewiring for sometime, im fine now. So in my case it was safe to say its due to porn.

Beware of doctors trying to scare the hell out of u. Thats why i recommend you to go for a second or third opinion from different urologists.

Lastly, nofap does not solve all your problem but it will help you remove the layer that covers up underlying problems.

No idea how old you're are but I'm 19[so I wasn't expecting any physical issues] and experienced PIED and it cost my gf which sucked a lot a led down a road of anxiety, depression, a bunch of unhealthy habits...especially porn. And after about 6 months I was having exactly what you just said, it didn't matter what kind of porn it was really difficult to keep my member up. And I hadn't had morning wood in months. I believe it's just a lame cycle where your unconscious has learned that every time you attempt to go through the motions of masturbating you associate it with the result which you expect to be a rewarded...but it each time it's a flaccid penis associated with shame.
So even if you aren't addicted to porn abstaining for 90 days+ gives your mind time to leave those painful memories in the past to start fresh. The brain physical builds up and in that time it will restructure to find a release for pent up sexual energy(since you're no long watching porn to release it) and this will be the brain going back to it's roots and original hard wiring to figure out this release...attempting to mate with a real female!...and wet dreaming haha. By then everytime you've gotten hard thinking about a real women or having a wetdream has not resulted in a bad outcome...just unfulfilled. I've yet to sleep with another girl but while laying in bed at night just thinking about a crush is enough to get my erection up.

nofap is not abstinence is it? you can still have sex. In the same way, mere celibacy or bachelorhood which is abstaining involuntarily now but salivating for when you will bang later on, or doing karezza, is not properly abstinence either is it? different goals, different results.
