So, are there any good recovery stories where people dealt with COVID19 limitations?

Legit concern here and am curious.

  2. Yeah, me. 88 days free from P, 28 days free from PMO and I'm still in quarantine.

I've been meaning to quit for over three years now, been taking it more seriously for nearly two (at least).

Quarantine initially made it harder, but being alone and bored makes you extremely prone to soul searching. On June 1st, day 7 of my current streak, I watched The Midnight Gospel and it kind of changed my life. It's silly to say that about some Netflix show, but it touches upon the relationship between the meaning of life and death, it's really good stuff. I changed a lot and began rethinking some things.

The show also sparked my interest for meditation, I did it daily for 3 weeks and it helped me immensely. Just some 10 to 20 minute guided mindfulness meditation on YouTube made a world of difference, I didn't struggle at all to not watch porn. Simultaneously, exercise. It needs no introduction, exercise is key to overcoming any addiction. On weekdays, I skipped rope for around 10 minutes.

I also had a solid routine at the time due to college. Wake up early, watch online classes, eat lunch, meditate, exercise, play videogames and go to bed. Having a routine made it easier for me then and continues to do so today.

Finally, I have friends. You really need people in your life to have true connections, otherwise PMO is going to look A LOT more appealing.

I see. How bad was your PIED? How did flatline onset for you? Did you fap so much, that flatline happened to you?

  4. I was addicted for over 7 years, PMO'd daily, but my PIED wasn't too severe, I could minimize its effects by quitting for a few days prior to having sex. Flatline happened around day 10 without PMO and I'm still going through it.
