I know this is probably not the right forum to post my relapse, but I was posting here the most. Made 10 days, but stress from plumbing problems, having to work extra hours, and an ear problem made it easier to give in. I got to the obsession point again and gave it full power in the name of relief. One thing I'm glad about is I'm human and knowing I'm not alone with this struggle, and that it's been said there will be relapses along the way. I have no desire for a chaser right now, I'm whipped and in that "hangover" state and will try to aim for 10 days and beyond. It's discouraging after trying to help others that I fell so easily. But I haven't wandered off to fapland, I'm still here.
Falling is the easy part, so don't worry. What you did after that, getting back up and dusting yourself off, that's the hard part. So you should be proud of that in and of itself! Additionally, 10 days is a nice streak. Many can't get to 3 days. The hangover state you mention, it's awful I know, but in a few days you will be out of that so keep fighting and keep getting back up. When you stay down, that's when you lose.
I thought based on the title there was a story related to falling off an actual horse. You sneaky beaky!
My new years resolution was to not relapse at all in 2020. I relapsed around 45 times since then. The key is learning from your relapses and growing stronger overtime.
10 days man! this is just progress! we believe in you bro!, make it happen! get that so wanted streak you long for and achieve a new grip in life!
Oh I'm sneaky alright. I only wish that were true so I could post in Unrelated Topics. Keep the horse under you at all times.
I believe this or I wouldn't have come back so quick. I see I'm not alone and that there is strength in numbers. Thanks -
What I didn't realize up until now is the level of support here and what it really means, and those who are fighting and don't give up, even if just a few or no days under their belt are very credible and inspirational. Thank you. Motivators all.
