What is next after 90 days of No porn??

    Hi friends,

    I am completing the 90 days of "No Porn" by today. This is the maximum duration for me to not watch porn in the past 6-7 years. This wasn't be done if I didn't join this Nofap community. So I thanks all of you for your help. Because being in nofap I can clear all my doubts regarding these taboo topics. You all guys are cheering every body in nofap to control their emotions and feelings. Hats off you...

    I took these 90 days as Phase 1 because I was in abstinence from PORN only. Initially I started to be abstinent from both porn and mastrubation. But I didn't make it more than 6 days. I think approximately 18-20 times I mastrubated in these 90 days (Maximum in the night before sleep).
    Most of the time I controlled myself to not watch porn. It was really hard (2 times I nearly tends to watch porn).

    Main supporting things that suppress the porn urge in these 90 days are:
    1. The WILL that I can not start the Streak from the scratch again (after all I came this much days without porn. So be it)
    2. By reading some of stories in Nofap and getting some suggestions from you
    3. By keeping myself busy in some other activities
    4. By understanding the porn strategy of addiction (they uses constant infinite novelty to be addicted)

    But still in sometime I can't control the urge. I think I mastrubated due to that urge only. So I planned to start another 90 days without porn and mastrubation. That is Phase 2.

    That's it guys.

    All your advices / suggestions / comments are welcome...
    Please give some Ideas to control the mastrubation during porn urge....

  2. Welcome and good luck on your Journey! I strongly recommend you the book Your Brain on Porn by Gary Wilson, where the porn and masturbation adiction are fully explained, also i dont believe in 3 months, 100 days etc. that is just the number, every one of us is different and demand different amount of time to heal. The most important thing is changing your daily habits and focusing on work/school/training/hobbies, by changing and improving your life Day by Day you will be stronger and more succesfull in NoFap, just try to think about it as no big deal and focus on positive thoughts and things in your life.

    Not that much. But I had some confidence to overcome my addiction of watching porn.
    Anyhow this is the proof that we can do this much abstinence.

    Just wanted to share sth.
    I have been trying to strongly come out of PMO-addiction since jan 2016. After all the several streaks, relapses and hard attempts i find that it does not matter what streak i have acheived today. If i relapse once today, there is a huge possibility that i can go back to square 1. Why i am saying this is becuz it has happened with me several times over.

    Like first i started in jan 2016. Relapsed several times within a few weeks. Then relapsed in few months. Then i put my life on different environments like volunteering continuously in temple or NGO, staying outside of my room for very long time, being in a job, leaving job and joined an NGO full time, and finally a spiritual organisation. But until i was physically fit and able to put myself through various activities like running, cycling, swimming, socializing, reading, working.. till then things were somehow ok. Here and there in a month or two or three i would read a sex story for long times(when i was in a travel and had noyhing to do) and ultimately ejaculate.

    But then since this year feb, i am having a physical injury. And boy oh boy, i was having a lot of free time. And i never thought i wud go back to the same ditch , to the point of becoming helpless to come out of it.

    It started very slowly. One thing after another. Photos, sex stories, lite porn, hard porn. And then it came to a point i dont know what to do.

    Then i took to this website. Everday writing journal. Everyday watching NoFap videos, improvement videos. Building habits. Making conscious choice daily. Somehow i have come to day 18.

    The point i want to make is : it doesnt matter what point on the NoFap journey i have come, if i dont make the CONSCIOUS CHOICE OF EFFORTS every single day, there is 100% possibility to get back to ground zero. So we need to be careful, aware, conscious and striving to improve ourselves daily. Complacency is same as zero improvement.

    As Reliance Industries logo says : "Growth is Life" .

    Yeah buddy.. But I regret to say that I relapsed several times after that... This may be due to the over confident and 90 days limit that I fixed for no porn. So I released after 90 days..

    Now I got my confidence back. I made a promise to me that I will never watch pornography again. Also I am trying to not masturbate for approximately 100 days.. I think I can do it.

    It is also going well for last 12 days.. let us have hope..

    Hi bro. It's already a great archievement.
    I used to have stong urges that never ended.
    But ater I starte doing heavy sports minimum 4 days a week the urges are completely gone and this state lasts for months now.
    I did HIIT workouts for a mix of aerobis and anaerobic training, combined with running.
    I think that is key, only wight lifting or running does not have this strong effect.
    I go running once a week and do my HIIT workout three times a week. I am splitting the workout in push, pull and legs.
    After training I always do 20-30 minutes of yoge stretching exercieses.
    Maybe that will koll your urges to.
