    So, I thought I would do this maybe it could give some guys hope. Together we are always stronger.

    Anyway, I did NOFAP for the first time last year. I was extremely chronic with sex, masturbation, and some drug use which was getting out of hand. I decided to turn my life around and I did this by starting NOFAP.

    It was the hardest thing ever. I had cold sweats, migraines, and felt like crap a lot of the time while on NOFAP. But at around day 45 I felt at peace in my mind.

    Then the days flew by and I realized there was nothing I couldn't do. I was invincible at my fortune 500 internship winning the case competition, working out all day, and being able to eventually create an app for a business I was pursuing at the time.

    However I got to day 114 and eventually folded.

    For the past 6 months, I have been on and off. Sometimes going for 2-3 weeks on NOFAP and other times not. I know its not as bad as I used to be but I still wish I never broke that streak.

    All in all, today I am making the choice that I will win the war and take this demon's soul.

    Every day, I am going to post to update how it is going for the second time around. Doing it once is hard, but committing to a reboot for life is another.

    So this is day 1, stay strong out there men.

    Day 2

    Today wasn't that hard. I was pretty busy all day with school and work. Did get some few urges from triggers watching TV but I stopped those thoughts by doing the sa, ta, na, ma meditation. All in all, today was a good day.

    Thank you for your insight, I was thinking of doing it in the logs but I do not want this to be just a journal. I am also going to include some tips, advice, the recovery process, potential benefits, and peer support in here as well. Thanks again and stay strong!

    Tips I used today to beat day 3.

    To start off, day 3 is always the hardest for me. Not sure why but after day 3 its usually easy. Then it gets hard around day 6 and day 9. I still am trying to figure this out why but who knows.

    Tips that work for me on these hard days that could work for you:

    1. Meditate and breathe whenever I get the thought of doing it
    2. Cold showers but in the shower meditate and hold breath for 40-60 seconds.
    3. Working out, but doing it outside in nature. (Something about nature brings a lot of peace)

    Day 4 I kept really busy. Honestly, didn't have any time really for anything. So I guess keeping busy is another tip.

    Benefits I am seeing that I've seen before: Mental Clarity, more energy, strong athletic performance wise.

    In this part of the process I feel like its easy to forget these benefits. We kind of sometimes think like oh it's okay I don't really need NOFAP anymore. I think if we keep reminding ourselves to not sell out to the few seconds of pleasure, in turn for losing a life of just being amazing that we can win the day.

    Hey everyone thought I'd post in here and ask if anybody had tips on how to not masturbate or how to avoid that trigger when drunk. I usually have sex and jerk off if I am due to bad habit in the past. Last night I was able to beat it but I wanna be more prepared for the future as well? Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
