Does a relapse destroy all the progresses?

I guess it depends on your attitude whether you continue to fix yourself (your character and your addiction). If you get back into the loop, then it ruins it, if you just keep on going and don't fall, maybe it doesn't matter so much.

 

If you just continue and don't fall in a loop, you should be good. But don't make it a habit or excuse, to relapse 1-2 times a year.

Exactly. All that progress hasn´t been erased. Even abstaining for 1 week is better than no abstaining at all. And obviously, masturbating just once or twice a year is better than once or twice a day.
However, that mentality of permissivenes is gonna drag you down. It is acceptable to fail, but accepting defeat even before the fight is not. If you allow yourself to fail once, you will do it twice, and then you will going on a on until you come back to where you started.
Anyone here sets their own goals, but allowing yourself to be weak may cost you this fight. Some people would argue that it is impossible, but it isn´t. There are plenty of people in this web that are the living prove.
