So I'm really trying to take eliminating PMO from my life as seriously as possible. I restarted my counter when I so much as peeked at porn for a few seconds, though I sucessfully avoided masturbating to it, I put it away before I went further. But the challenge is to avoid even looking at it and screwing with my dopamine system, right?

Okay, so I realized there's one remaining behavior I've been doing habitually since I was basically 11 years old. I tend to fantasize about whatever woman I'm currently obsessed with and imagine having sex with her in the bed and hump the bed/make out with the pillow etc. haha, I even would do this during my marriage when my wife was in the shower and imagine someone else (I had a bad marriage, and was not in love with my wife).

Fast forward to today, I'm divorced, I'm getting much better at abstaining from porn and masturbation but now I'm trying to completely eliminate it, totally.

I'm thinking, I should probably eliminate even this last behavior of humping the bed. I never do it to orgasm, nor even to the edge of it. I just spend a few minutes imagining I'm with my soulmate tenderly making love to her. Seems harmless, but probably is also part of the overall dopamine addiction.

So what do you think? Completely eliminate even this behavior?

Sounds like a form of masturbation to me. Avoid.

That's fantasizing, so yes if you want freedom from this addiction, you should absolutely eliminate that from your life.

And it's not just about peaking at pornographic images that causes relapse. Rather, any plans or urges to look at anything that causes you to lust at all need to be eliminated as soon as you notice them. It's a whole process of purging all that's unclean from your mind to be replaced with the true the good and the beautiful.
