One of my biggest rationalizations to PMO over the months has been the effects of not ejaculating on the prostate.

I've seen a ton of conflicting information on this subject. Please note that I am not looking to discuss the effects of not masturbating, and ejaculating through actual sex(which seems to be much more positive than masturbating). I am looking to to assess the physical safety of hard mode - where there is no ejaculation whatsoever.

My current understanding is that, once I finally complete my 90 days, I should M (no porn) every 30 days or so to relieve pressure on the prostate.

A common piece of information I have found is that the testicles are perfectly capable of recycling sperm, and so not ejaculating has no real effect on them. However, I have not read anywhere that the prostate is capable of recycling semen without release.

If anyone has any concrete (as reliable as can be) info on how the prostate reacts to no ejaculation, I would absolutely love if you could post it here, as it would likely save me numerous relapses. Discuss, and thank you so much for your input.

You don't need a great deal of evidence to ascertain that not ejaculating long term has no real negative impact on the body at all. Some scientists have found a vague correlation between reduced risk of prostate cancer and ejaculatory frequency. That, however, is nonsense; after all, monks and religious officials who are celibate don't all drop dead from prostate cancer. In fact, ancient Taoist monks reported increased longevity in those who don't ejaculate as apposed to those who do on a frequent basis and a study into the effect of ejaculation on the life span of a species of worm (I can't remember the species off the top of my head) corroborates scientifically what these monks have known for a long time. If you are going to follow hard mode and not ejaculate at all you could try massaging the testicles and the perineum when you feel a bit congested down there; I read somewhere that that helps the body reabsorb the unused sperm and fluids. Just be careful that it is not a sexual touch.
