this is a long post, so bear with me for the typos if you find any.
From all the good things that I have read, there is a connections between these 3: first let's call it "Real nofap", SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION (for porn addiction) and AVRT.

Let's first start with SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION because I remember its philosophy the most. Basically, the thing is to remove the "brainwashing" that Porn relives pangs rather than causing them, and that it gives you pleasure which is also not true, and so rather than feeling like you are making a sacrifice, you become well informed and aware that you are literally not giving up anything at all. It also mention the case of the brainwashing taking effect as a "fear", reassuring that "life won't be as enjoyable" or that "I won't be able to cope with my shitty life anymore" are simply not true and just a manifestation of the big monster as it is called here, adding to that that You have absolutely nothing to lose, the worst that could happen is that you stay the same, which is no worse than you are now. Finally, don't envy the users (PMOers) because they don't approve od themselves, and envy YOU. Porn is an addiction that shouldn't be taken as a "bad habit". Quitting can be ENJOYABLE and EASY if you have the right mindset. "Isn't it marvelous that I'm purging this evil from my brain !".

Second, "Real nofap" I will link the post here so you can check if for yourself.
What you MUST read to get the right mindset to stop PMO once for all | NoFap®
This here also works on the mindset. You have to stop living your life with the only purpose being to quit porn. It is a symptom of a shitty life (but also A cause of maintaining it this way). Abstinence is not the way to recover, Forget porn diets as SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION calls them, or substitute, because if you think you need them or its okay, you are basically saying I need porn, think about it. If you didn't care about porn, why would you need a substitute. If you don't smoke, why would you need a nicotine free cigarette or something similar. The guy here ALSO urges you to take responsibility for your life, porn might not be the -starting- reason for your messy life, but it found a way to lure you into using it because of your unsatisfaction with life. Stop willingly fantasizing, it's useless, and brings no good to the table of recovery

Finaly, AVRT, short for Addicted Voice Recognition Technique. This is method used for subtance addiction, but its tools can and should be used on porn addiction. It says there are 2 in you: You, and your addicted voice, the beast, but we will call it the little monster for the sake of relying it with SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION, your addicted voice tells you addiction supportive thoughts using the pronoun I: "I would Love to have a porn session". The secret is to rethink the thought using the pronoun "it" disassociate yourself from the little monster: "It would love to have a porn session, But I don't" often times you will see that when you become aware of it it will starts using other pronouns such as We and You: "c'mon you know WE deserve it". "You will fail again so why try" SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION and AVRT both have a "Big Plan" tactic. SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION focuses more the big monster (the brainwashing) with little regards to the little monster, AVRT Only addresses the little monster. Basically SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION tells you that you don't need to fight that battle, it doesn't deserve your attention since you know that porn gives you no pleasure. But sometimes, the irrational thoughts or the triggering are way so direct and can be difficult to control the first times, that's where AVRT comes in handy.

What I would advice you to do to kick this awful addiction once and for all, is to read that nofap post, then SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION way to quit porn and then just a small section of the book of AVRT (Take only what is relevant to porn addiction). I personally think SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION is the superiors one, but it comes with some "opening" thats where these 2 come in to play. So I would suggest Reading but staying true to SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION, which means if you find something that contradicts EP, then you should rather follow SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION MOST OF THE TIMES.

That's it, I hope it has been helpful, and remember, if you are reading this, it has a reason, and that reason is that you really want to quit, so what are you waiting for !
Remember, quitting doesn't have to be a pain in the ass, it can be just as good with the right mindset
