So.... I had a great streak since start of November. But yesterday i finished once, and today I finished 3 times. I think that probably qualifies as a reset.

its awful - my brain fog, anxiety and low motivation are all back.

On the positive, I did a good job for 8 of the first 11 days of November. I slipped up on a few days, but I was feeling better than ever. If I can be totally clean (including no porn/edging) for at least 4 days straight, I should be back to where I was....

I simply can't do a 30 day streak - its too much. Instead I have been building it up. I started with 9 days clean in June, and then increased by one day per month. So for this month, I am aiming for 14 days clean - and I am still on track for that!!

I certainly identify with you when you admit you can't do 30 days.

You expect to be back to where you were in 4 days.

I myself have found that in four days I recover from a blow out.

Some will insist that it takes much longer.

Becoming completely abstinent is a long-term process.

But, four days is enough time for a short-term recovery from a fall.

  4. Your post helped to remind me that growth comes, almost always, gradually. When I started I could not for the life of me go more than 5 days. Today I’m complaining about I look once every 30-60 days typically. Honesty is crucial. I can honestly say I’m so disappointed in myself for being this addicted to porn I can not even go 90 days regularly. But I’m so proud of myself for working up to this point even though it’s taken me years to do so. Focusing on progress is the way to go. Even if it’s slow..
