What does this do in terms of behavior of people who have PIED? Does it make me super-addicted to sexual stimuli once I am desensitized and makes me keep going back for peeking, binging, etc.?

So the only place I've heard delta fos b mentioned so much is the e--z p--z book. From what I understand, it is a chemical that is related to habitual activities. So whenever you do something over and over like PMO, Delta fos B is used. And if you do another thing at the same time as this repeated habit, the neurons in your brain connect those two actions together in some manner. "Neurons that fire together, wire together" as it says multiple times.

So for me, using my phone, taking a shower, sitting in my car alone, being bored in general --- I would use these times/activities to look at PMO. So even when I'm trying to abstain from PMO, even just doing those activities triggers the thought of wanting to PMO. And a lot of this cross wiring is regulated by DeltaFosB (I think).

I like to imagine that layering these activities creates easy to follow grooves in our brain. So if you've been using PMO through a computer for ten years, every time you use a computer you may feel an urge.

Does DeltaFosB make you more susceptible to repeating the porn behaviors then? If so, will it take 6-8 weeks of complete porn abstinence for that to dimish?

I'm not super knowledgeable about neuroscience, so I don't know if it's possible to give a precise answer except Yes, it does make you more susceptible to relapsing when triggered. 6-8 without PMO should be enough time to be able to function like a normal human without constantly having an urge. But I'm not sure if the temptation will ever fully go away. It will just get smaller, quieter, and less powerful.

I'm in my late 20s and have used PMO almost daily since I was 13. So as you can imagine, these habits will take a while to break.

Let me share one of tip here
Deltafosb if not stimulated for 7-8 weeks, then it get repaired and that neural pathway dies.

Well explained! I'd also like to add, more than jus any computer, for me it had to be a device with a long history. I have analysed this. In the past, since 18-29 I had two laptops and was a heavy downloader. At end of 29 jus before I quit pmo I got a new laptop and download and viewed some in it as well. And after I quit pmo, I noticed something, when I use my new laptop it wasn't triggering at all but once when I took my old one it did make remember the past. Not triggering to pmo but kind of those old wirings started firing.
Well guess what I sold that laptop for good!

DeltaFosB has decreased when you can be exposed to a triggering situation but still be able to dettach from it in a few seconds, without getting trapped by the temptation.
