Constantly having wet dreams

    I've been having wet dreams at least once a week, and have been avoiding any porn or hentai. Is it normal to be having a wet dream every week? How can I reduce how often they happen?

    There are phases where wet dreams are quite regular. It's a healing sign.

    To reduce the amount, try the following: Try to reduce the temperature in your bedroom. If it's very warm wet dreams are more likely. Do not eat or drink much 2-3 hours before you go to bed. Especially the eating thing is a big one. I used to wet dream the most, when I eat fat stuff before sleeping. Like chips or stuff like that.

    Thank you, I've been sleeping with 2 blankets on cause it gets cold at night, so I'll try to keep it to one, and do you know if they'll eventually stop happening?

    Okay. There is a way of stopping a wet dreams as well if you are not indulging in any fatasies or lusting. It require practise and I do not always use it, but you basically have to become aware in the dream that you are about to have a wet dream. As soon as you realize that you should do a lock with your muscles down there. The one you use to hold pee, your glutes and after those your lower backm you should do that lock before going to bed. But as I said sometimes it can be healthy to have wet dreams. If they become too frequent I use that technique. There are posts by modern milarepa Who taught me this. Try searching them.

    For me, I found it varies. I usually have about 1-2 wet dreams/month. Usually, I don't mind cause it releases some pressure. The only bad thing is if they happen when you're sleeping somewhere else. And the chaser-effect after wet dreams is also sometimes not so nice.

    I also practiced the technique @DeeJ4y describes above. I can confirm that it even works subconsciously when you're asleep. But you have to be quite consistent with training that muscle.

    If you are a teen, maybe it is kind of normal. I thought wet dreams got less frequent with age. But everyone's body is different. If I felt 'tension' like I was going to have one, I'd put a wad of toilet paper in my underwear when I was young. Then, I'd sleep like that a lot. Wet dreams might help flush things out for you and probably relieves tension, I'd suppose. I've got an idea for product-- the Dicky Diaper.

    It's the subconscious acting out at night....let it go, it will subside eventually, if you stop porn.
