Hahaha I just know a ridiculous amount of music and being motivated is something I love hence the shit ton of motivational and spiritually healing songs I know. This is going to take all year.
Well...as for me 'good feelings' really matters...staying motivated fuels the enthusiasm to work and strengthens my resolutions...I think motivation and discipline are very much related..motivated+disciplined is a combo! discipline alone won't suffice..
Most of Watsky's stuff tends to work for me, particularly 4am Monday Morning and Moral of the Story. So rare to see rap with a positive message, but definitely a fallback for me.
I agree about music being a major inspiration. I wouldn't say these songs are super inspirational - but music I've been obsessed with lately.
Discipline is widely misunderstood. No one is saying motivation isn't a good thing, don't misinterpret, although I wasn't very clear and apologize for speaking bluntly. Many people shy away from the concept of discipline because it means hardwork and sacrifice. Motivation ain't shit without discipline imo. Can't we all just get along?
