So in general I only watch porn because of a particular fetish that is keeping me turned on, and I want to not do PMO anymore. I want some suggestions about not having this fetish anymore, because if I'll get rid of this it will be very easy for me to reboot.

You cannot get rid of it without rebooting. This is what the reboot is all about.

If I stop being addicted then it will be easy to quit my addiction!

There is only way one to stop watching that shit: stop watching it.

How to stop watching? Restrictions. iPhone has fantastic built-in restrictions. Block the app-store and whitelist sites you need in the browser. Let somebody else set the password. Get rid of any computers or tablets in the house. Now you can’t even watch, even if you wanted to.

Also, the more enjoyable your life is in general, the less need for such behaviour. Find healthy occupations that you enjoy. Also, if you find a girlfriend/boyfriend you can have sex and so the desire to masturbate should be reduced.

It’s really not that hard, you just gotta man up and take action and be willing to take sacrifices. Financial ones as well.

This. I tried quitting for over six years with willpower alone and it never worked. It wasn't until I accepted, that I need blockers before I actually made some progress. Of course, blockers aren't always perfect and it takes a lot of dedication and trial-and-error to find and fix loopholes (which almost always exist the beginning). It's not as easy as to download some app or software and everything is fine.

Also, a clear decision to turn your life around is still absolutely necessary, but blockers help a lot; especially in the beginning. I've setup my blockers over a long period of time and slowly tweaked them to my needs and I am at a point now, where I can confidently say: My blockers are perfect for me. There are no loopholes that I am aware of whatsoever. If I'll find any, I'll fix them. That's just what I do. Only a few days ago, I managed to fix the last loophole I was aware of. And I can't even put into words how much of a help that is. I used to think I was weak for using blockers, but I came to realize it's better to function with blockers, than to be miserable without them. Also, blockers are just a temporary aid most likely.

100% agreed, my blockers are also waterproof for me and helped me tremendously.

And yes a clear decision to turn your life around is also necessary. For example quitting a job if that job gives PMO opportunities through a work laptop on which you have to work from home. Or getting rid of your laptop and using the public library instead when internet is required (I’ve been doing this for years)

People have to take a fucking stand, they have to stop the excuses and take the measures required. Or stay in their miserable pathetic position forever. Your life is now and you live only once, make it count goddamn it. I’m getting emotional over this.

One of the reasons I keep relapsing is that I cannot find an efficient blocker for my phone. I'll really appreciate if you could tell me some good blockers for Android. I cannot really not use my phone at all because I use it for some tasks. Also in the rest I do things that successfully keeps my busy.

At least I can tell you how I do it with my phone. I use a combination of things:

1.The basis of all my blockers is a paid version of CleanBrowsing DNS. There are also three free options, but I wanted to be able to customize my experience (block specific sites, whitelisting others, etc) and therefore, I decided to pay for a monthly subscription. You could either use their DNS app or setup the DNS server manually in the android network settings. I set it up manually, because there is a bug (?) sometimes, where the app does weird things after you restart your phone. That's why I suggest setting it up manually. If you decide to pay for it, create a new email adress (with a random password) and a random passwort on their site, so that you can't simply change your password. Write everything down.

    2. On top of that, I use the Pluckeye webbrowser as my everyday browser. It is from the same guy, as the Pluckeye software for Windows. It's a webbrowser, that by default disables all pictures and videos (not just porn), but it's also highly customisable. You can either download a pre-made config from other users or create a config on your own, which suits your own needs better. It takes some time to set it up like you want it, but once you have a solid config, it's a really good user experience.

    3. Now you only have to block your access to
    a) other browsers and/or apps, which you could use to access porn AND
    b) to settings, which can be used to revert your first two steps.

That's where an AppLock-App comes in. I personally use an app called "AppLock" from DoMobileLab. I found that one to be the most reliable one in the Playstore. Others I tried didn't work that great. Sometimes they did, sometimes they didn't. I locked the PlayStore, other browsers I have installed, the android settings (you must do this, otherwise everything you did before is enirely useless), and so on. Use a random passcode. Write it down as well.

    4. Once everything is setup, go to https://lockbox.pluckeye.net and/or https://ptimelock.com/ and store your random passwords in a lockbox with a timer. Don't set too long of a delay (in case you messed up some settings), but also not a too short one. I personally varied between 1 - 3 days. Also, do not forget your login data for these two sites. They don't have to be random this time, because these sites work on time delay basis rather than a password basis.

If I didn't forget anything, that is basically how I blocked porn from my android device. In case anybody knows a loophole to any of this, PLEASE do not mention it.

Thanks for sharing your method, I tried using some apps, but they have loopholes so they were not efficient, apart from that App lock application that I also use.

Yes, that's what I found too, when I first starting trying different options. In my experience, no currently available app or software on it's own is enough to block porn efficiently without loopholes. You always need a couple of things layered on top of each other to make it work well. Obviously, it is also very much possible that there is no such thing as a "perfect blocker". But a blocker doesn't even have to be perfect. As long as it blocks you out of the things, that you used to do, that's good enough. That paired with a strong will to quit, should do the trick. Good luck.

    It doesn't work like that.

You can't change your fetishes, but you can change your behaviour of using PMO. Once you stop doing that, you'll find that your unwanted fetishes will subside...its an indirect effect.

I'm glad you guys found it helpful. I don't know, but would any of you be interested in the same type of "guide" for Windows? Because I have trial-and-error'ed my way to a well working system (for me) on Windows as well. Maybe that would be useful for some people. What do you think? I'm by no means a computer engineer or anything, but I figured stuff out as I went. Maybe it could save some of you some time.

You can read Your Brain on Porn: Internet Pornography and the Emerging Science of Addiction by Gary Wilson. Or even better: listen audio version and take a walk.
That's really helped me and made motivated.

I would find it very helpful for people who spend most of their time on PC, trial and error usually give the most efficient method.

For all the people, who said they would like a "blocker guide" for Windows: I did not forget about it, but I decided that if I do create such a guide, I wanna do it properly. That is way more work than I expected though, so it takes a lot longer than I expected. Although I do have limited time right now, I am working on it everyday and it should be ready eventually. I'll make sure to let you know when it's online.
