    hope all is well guys, been a bit busy.

    the gentleman whose father has Alzheimer’s, sorry about this and I hope things become easier for you and your mum fella.

    guys I got my smart phone back, I think it’s out of weakness I don’t know. But yesterday was a big test for me. Alone in the middle of the night in the living room, wife in bed fast asleep. I was sitting in comfort 2am , listening to louis ( jazz ) enjoying a Romeo and Juliet ( cigar ) ( again ) but this time I had my phone. There I am 2am making an espresso enjoying life and reading literature. I kept getting small calls in the back of my mind to have a look on ******* . There were some urges. But I got through it.

    I have my phone with me now so I’m in a potentially dangerous situation. In any case this is my 5th , 6th day … I haven’t gone this long from porn since probably a year ago

    as I said I have an AP , but shall I make a telegram group ? No , in fact I’m going to make one now , who ever wants to join they can join, maybe then if one of us is asleep or absent their might be others present who can provide support .

    I was in a similar situation, it took me a month+ of technology abstention, mainly mobile phone, to make some recovery. I would suggest the same thing if it's feasible.

    Imo a no-tolerance policy is necessary. We gotta become monks.

    Im sat here , its 12:30. coffee ..again, wife in bed, im wide awake, min a dangerous situation..this is my 6th,7th day not too, sure..im reaching out hoping someone will respond.. I've posted the link to the telegram group if anybody is out there ...

    Ah I see your reading interests are quite similar to me.I love greek mythology, murder mysteries ,detectives,fiction,science based books.I have read some from Homer,Agatha Christie,Rick Riordan,Shakespeare,Stephen Hawking,A. Einstein,Helen Keller,D.Patnaik,H.G. Wells,Charles Dickens,R.L. Stein,Roald Dahl,etc.

    Whom have you read in past?Whom do you like? Personally I like A.Christie and anything about greek mythology.

    Going ok, I'm having 3 days of smalliday with my GF. So I'll be bcak Monday.

    yesterday I added a adblocker on my laptop.And then by adding some minor codes, I made my youtube free of thumbnails.That will reduce my temptation to click on every appealing video on youtube and hence would save my time.

    I joined this site on 17 January to fight porn addiction for once and forever.When I began ,I was addicted to (in decreasing order of intensity):-
    porn,masturbation, youtube, quora, fast-food, wikipedia,among-us game,literature novels.


    Now today is 28 April.Now look at what has changed slowly from 17 January(the day I joined this site) onwards:

    >Excessive literature novel reading has stopped completely.I have complete control.
    >I don't play among-us or any game now.I have complete control.
    >Not even opened or even have a thought to open quora and wikipedia now.Under control.
    >Ate fast food just 1 time in this month.A huge change for a person who used to eat some fast-food every-time he went out.Under good control.

    >youtube is still the biggest thing on which I still waste a lot of precious time.Almost no change in intensity.
    >masturbation is the thing that's troubling my body.Bad physique and bad digestion problems.I used to be dependent on porn for masturbation i.e, if no porn ,then no thoughts to masturbate.But from a few days I am masturbating in the bathroom without porn.This is not good and quick actions need to be taken.
    >Porn, still the biggest distraction, concentration destroyed, brain-fog promoter.I have lost the capacity to think and choose the better thing.The only change is that now I feel bad after watching porn.Earlier it was a casual thing.Moreover I was successful in raising little streak (16 days was biggest) and shown myself that I can do it.

    So yeah overall ,things are bettering .Very soon all my addictions are going to fall off just like the others.Stay positive everyone.

    Sorry all. I failed you and myself again.
    I should have posted yesterday after my 3 days smalliday and reached out to you.

    Smalliday was great. I'm 95% maybe 98% happy with my relationship and life.
    But no sex and my addiction to the hyperstimulus of PMO (which makes your brain go to 150%) made me feel bad.

    Back home, confronted with all the stimuli (mostly things on screens, Work, Whatsapp etc, but just also the feeling that you have to do things at home), after 3 days of peace and quiet in the woods, mt brain went into overdrive.

    So this morning when my wife was away, after I had done the groceries which is stressful (because I cannot handle low stimuli because of my PMO addcition), I caved in and did some quick PMO.

    So @you_can_UK , you are on the right track. It is all connected and all the same to your brain. I tend to over do things like reading, etc. too all the time.

    It is often said you need a new, healthy addiction to repace the old PMO and that will make it easier.
    I do not agree, even if you exercise and get very fit, it is still addiction.
    You/ I need to teach my brain moderation. Many Dopamine drips instead of a deluge.

    A.C. is my favourite and has been my whole life. (My mother is a fan so all books were available in my youth).
    Rereading her now.
    And just picked up my Greek Mythology to re-read. (being careful not to binge read).
