I wish I was able to extend the amount of time I could read a book longer without feeling like the brain fog feels too much. It feels overwhelming at times. Anyone else feel this way? It’s like an ADD dopamine scattered attention feeling…anyone?

I have the same shit, can’t focus on doing things for a long time.
Can say only now, when I cut off all the cheap dopamine (include social media and other stuff), focus time increased a little, cuz my brain start thinking about benefits of reaching the goals.
    Stay strong, bro

The down regulation of Dopamine/GABA receptors in your brain is what causes the ADD symptoms.

It is not so much your ability to read, but your ability to focus and clearly process the information you are perceiving. I promise you, things gradually get better and your ability to focus will return.

Approximately 2.5 years ago I couldn't read a sentence. If I did I had to re-read the sentence only to not understand what I had re-read. After focused recovery the ability to sit and read for longer periods of time, even now the ability to focus is improving.

Don't be too hard on yourself, give yourself time and the urge to focus on tasks will gradually return.

Thank you. How is GABA related to Dopamine?
